how many of goals mattered? He is rubbish.

Mate, so far this season he's scored the goal that gave us the lead v Wolves, Palace and West Ham.
He assisted the goal the drew us level with Brighton. He scored the goal that got us level at Anfield.

You don't have to like him but the lad is producing and is making you look a bit silly, If you are actively looking for a scapegoat then look for that very expensive lad in midfield thats actually going through the motions without producing anything at all or something because Jackson is doing really well all things considered.

nah - he is rubbish....

The difficulty with Nkunku is I believe his best position is on the left of a 4-3-3.
He’s never looked entirely comfortable in our system apart from playing the 10 role imo. He’s going to struggle to get minutes in that position especially next season if Paez and Estevao are with the first team. I’d have liked him subbed on for Palmer after the hour on Sunday.

Jackson did ok. None of the 3 positions behind him performed. They didn’t create anything after the first half hour tbh.

I’m beginning to warm to him and there is much he can improve on but his numbers are more than acceptable and I’ve absolutely no doubt he’ll get much much better

Jackson in perspective.

19 league goals / 9 assists in 39 games. His goal contribution per game is better than...

Fernando Torres 110 league games 23 goals.

Werner/ Crespo/ Batshuyai 25 goals.

Morata 23 goals. Sturridge, Stein et all.

Most likely overtake Havertz and Abraham's numbers us this this season, he's 21 goals behind the legend that is Vialli... Want to see Wacko shave his head and grow a goatee when he passes his goals for us tally.

Keep being sad sacks and hating on a chelsea player ffs.

Brilliant post.

Always been my viewpoint that he's deffo not the best and not what we will consider Chelsea quality.

But why I've supported him is that so called better players before him, that would have been better suited to the "Chelsea quality" tag have not been able to perform as he has. We seem to have been cursed with finding strikers that fit our team and deliver as they were doing elsewhere that got our attention in the first place.

Sometimes we strive for what we think is the right player when we have one right now in the team doing what we would have been elated at, if it was being done by say some player called Osimhen, Gyokeres or Sessko.

Rather live with what we have than tempt fate and try for yet another elite striker that might turn out a disappointment.

This is a reasonable take but calling him terrible, talking down his goals as if they don't matter and listing him as one of the worse strikers we have ever had is taking things a bit too far.

Theres been plenty of games where terrible was a perfectly cromulent description of him,

Before my time.

To this day though I am still very fond of Gudjohnsen.

Just throwing it in there, but I am very chuffed with Peter Osgood and Charlie Cooke

Young whippersnapper....

I'm 32. 🤓

We here in the states weren't blessed with Premier League football until 2005 when Fox Soccer finally started broadcasting the Premier League.

We've had far worse than Jackson... Two of them now play for tossers of north London...

Havertz and Jorginho?

And Werner? I'd swap him for Mudryk

Would you notice any difference, other than the smile?

Hands up all those who can remember what we won with JFH up front.

Charity shield was the only thing he won with us wasnt it? Lost an FA cup final.
