It’s the manager’s fault. He is trying to play 4-1-4-1 and neither has the personnel, nor implementing the style properly.

He was absolutely awful today, totally anonymous. I was a big fan when he was with us but maybe he wasn't that good and it was rose tinted glasses.

I don’t know what ten hag is doing with him. Seems to only be employed as a defensive midfield workhorse to run after opposition players, not getting the ball, so can’t get in the game.
