Is it just me or is Neto looking a decent forward as a No.9 or inverted No.9

Palmer's form is now at Jackson levels and Nkunku scored with a brave header so it now looks like we have some competition up front.

We may beat Leicester at home and recover 4th assuming we lose 4th today.

Because Neto is our only attacker who want to run behind

If you choose to ignore the evidence of wrongdoing, that's on you. Personally, I can no longer and wont trust anyone who holds an Israeli passport and invests in a genocidal basket case state to avoid prosecution...

Anyhow, the football is miserable enough without having to remember the good times under our former boss... who incidentally was massaging the books, a problem that still hasnt gone away and the club will pay a price for.

Have a good one mate. 🖖

Its the hypocritical comments like this that are laughable. Outrage at the dead Ukrainians but happy to have Wyss as an owner openly sponsoring mass murder in Afghanistan (in an illegal war), Pakistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Syria etc. Its seems to now be popular amongst the virtue signalers to condemn Roman as an evil warlord (laughable) but completely turn a blind eye to anything in the West.

Really weird and antisemitic take too but okay. Wait until you hear about the war crimes UK and US commit, you're going to hate anyone with those passports.

You do have a really good point, I remember at the time Roman was being sanctioned, the Man City owners were having pictures taken sat next to Assad while they were bombing Yemen.

The rules are never applied fairly. If you're going to condemn Roman, make as much noise for the other Gulf State owners we allow to do as they please.

Never mind geopolitics, this is the real footballing bombshell.

What the actual f**k!? Sack him now FFS and let the under-14 squad rotate as interim, who cares anymore.

Look... Get mad at my take... i really dont care. I've not even spoken about other conflicts, as I was keeping it to CFC and Ukraine/ Russia. Im not going to take a lesson on antisemitism from you given the article, its publishers and folk who support it. Many american Jews in this instance.. Never mind. Go be salty elsewhere and keep crying into your pillow about roman.

Would be a good point victor if it were the UAE bombing Yemen however, Manchester City's owners are from the UAE... Newcastle are owned by a Suadi Consoritum, it was Saudi arabia who bombed Yemen.

Im done, going to give this place a wide birth until the end of the season. Enjoy the sh*t fest being served up - I hope we get top 4... but current form suggests otherwise.

To summarise then, if the USSR hadn’t failed, Ukraine would have remained a part of Russia. Roman would still be our owner, Maresca would’ve never been our coach and we’d all be getting on and not watching the most eye wateringly boring brand of football ever conceived.

Who's mad? I'm just replying the same as you are.

CFC have nothing to do with Ukraine. Neither did Roman.

Looks like you're the one who's getting a little bit mad, sweetheart x

Wyss is a huge donator to the democrat party. Obama bombed the life out of all those countries.

Hope this helps.

This post truth world and your incorrect opinion again!

And the US would still be bombing civilians but people wouldn't care because they didn't watch Rocky IV and get told Russia = bad

I don’t have much faith in us getting top 4. We’re not good enough and can’t grind out a win. No clean sheets hurt our chances massively as well.

Yeah, not confident at all. We failed to win many games that were easier on paper. We need 8 wins to get to 70 points, which has usually been enough for top 4. I can't see us winning 5 of these games, let alone 8.

@Ukraine Bolt I was keeping it to CFC and Ukraine/ Russia. People who are upset or mad tend to insult or attack the other person or add arguments that have nothing to do with the point being debated. - see below.

You called me names (hypocrite) I was keeping it to CFC and Ukraine/ Russia. It wasnt just Ukraine that brought down Roman.

Im outraged by nearly 1 million casualties and deaths among russian forces.

Ive not condemned Roman as an evil war lord. the opposite, i actually thanked him...

Im not making excuses for Roman, you are. That's fine.

I havent had to resort to calling you sweetheart. Ive tried to be really placid and just raise points you strongly disagree with, its a general theme on social media that We do live in a post-truth world where incorrect opinions are more valid simply because you believe them more vicariously than someone else.

Why do we care about wyss? Is he sanctioned by most countries in the world and therefore not under threat of arrest or investigation... not valide argument here. Especially given September 11 and the fall out that justified the response to it if thats what you're alluding to. Saudi Arabia bombed Yemen.

But I think most Billionairs are corrupt to the core. Hope this helps.

I do know about the war crimes UK/USA have committed... not as many as Russian Troops in three years sadly. FYI, I once uncovered evidence that was successfully used to prosecute the UK govt and I work in the third sector and advocate against war and conflict.

Anyhow, pointless arguing with false fixed beliefs, sorry I upset you and got such a salty resposne. Im sorry you're not over the break up with Roman.

When did i call you names? Ukraine was the single reason the government stepped in and sanctioned Roman. They had nothing before that.

Its sweetheart thats upset you? Jheeze, touchy. Once again with the 'incorrect opinions'. To me and others your opinion is incorrect. Perhaps look in a mirror and direct those comments at yourself.

We should care because he owns a stake in the club? Its widely accepted the war in Iraw and Afghanistan was illegal, but that doesn't matter because the West did it. This is the hypocrisy i'm pointing to. More than US drone strikes in Yemen under Obama, not sure the relevance of Saudi as they aren't shareholders in the club we support?

You don't care about the atrocities committed by US/UK? I mean that just says everything about your character, have a good day burying your head in the sand and scoring those virtue signalling brownie points.

Im sorry you've not registered anything ive said. re-read and try again plaese. See point about false fixed beliefs. Im sure clinging onto the past will help you thorugh the current situation. Good for you.

Widely accepted is vastly different to illegal. Do you understand this point? Currently, there isnt a warrant out for the arrest of George Bush or Tony Blair. Nor was one issued to Osama Bin Laden for his terror attack on the twin towers which was the catalyst to the invasions of Afghansitan and Iraq. There is a warrant for Putin. It wasnt just Roman who was sanctioned, a number of Russian oligarchs were, All with explicit connections to the Kremlin and Russian security agencies. It should also be pointed out that both the Iraqi and Afghan invasions have cost far less life than the 1.5 million deaths or injured and growing coming out of Ukraine in under 3 years. Putin has now waged Europes longest war for more than 200 years and this is the result for Ukrainians.

(have a look at the number of graves.. Putins/Russia's doing)

Never mind the murder of russian dissidents throughout the UK, or the two russian chemical attacks that took place here potentially jeopardising the lives of tens of thousands. Nor the loss of British lives in a plane over Ukraine shot down by russian proxies/ military. The list goes on and if you choose to ignor it, no problem. There was also the small matter of russian forces using tanks that would have used Romans steel being used to kill civilians in Syria. russia is a gangster run state.

The implication for the oligarchs is that they helped move Russian agents across the world on their mega yachts and bankrolled many other projects. They have bankrolled persuasion campaigns and aided the russian state. Again, this is nuanced info you probably haven't seen or looked away from to fit your world view, not to mention the consistent targeting of European facilities over the same period.

I have said a number of times, if you choose to read, that I wasn't bringing Iraq and Afghanistan into things here because they're irrelevant to Chelsea and also pre-date the arrival of Roman to the club. I also said I have helped secure a conviction against UK oppression abroad, which should indicate my position on those wars.

Anyhow, ive not resorted to name calling or straw man arguments or attacked your views. But i am going to now. Here is the sock with Putin or Roman's face you can toss off into.

Literally everything you ay is through Westernised tinted glasses. I'm at work so i'll bullet point to make it quick.

  1. Obviously the West aren't going to declare the war they announced illegal. You can think for yourself and see the atrocities and lies it was build on.

  2. Thousands of videos on twitter of Ukranian's dropping grenades from drones on surrendering souldiers. Also a war crime, no warrants though... No shock the ICC turns away from European crimes.

  3. Where is this 1.5m figure from? Ukraine say they've lost about 60k trops and 40k civilians.

  4. What do Russian chemical attacks have to do with Roman?

  5. What does a plane shot down have to do with Roman?

  6. The steel link is beyond laughable. Don't wear Hugo Boss clothes, drive a Mercedes or take any Bauer pharmaceuticals then. Are we going to hang anyone that produces steel for knives that get used in stabbings?

  7. Any proof of Roman moving agents across the world on their yachts? First i'm hearing of our owner being an under cover super spy espionage. This is genuinely tin foil hat level. So you can turn a blind eye to western atrocities because the ICC hasn't declared Bush or Blair war criminals, but you'll believe internet rumours that Roman was moving spies about on his yacht LMAO have you heard yourself?

  8. Afghanistan and Iraq and the other places mentioned, have nothing to do with Romn but they do with Wyss. Hence why they were mentioned.

  9. If you don't want to talk about tem because they have nothing to do with the club, why are we talking about Ukraine? Roman didn't invade his grandparents homeland regardless of whether he gave a minute amount of money to a person that knows Putin back in 2010.

Have a good day.

I'll take a bit of the blame for all politics turning up on the Maresca thread. I thought it was time for the fan base to have serious discussion about the previous ownership. I was interested to see if people still felt the same about Roman's tenure.

Little did I know about the acceptance of tyrannical Eastern block leaders.

I apologise for opening a can of worms. (Comrade)

  1. Its the ICC silly billy... they decide independently what is legal or illegal. See ISJ warrant issued against Israels leader Netanyahu and other warrents issued to countries committing war crimes or crimes against humanity.

  2. A war crime is a war crime is a war crime... I agree. Russia has been targeting civilian infrastructure, like hospitals, residential areas and therefore committing war crimes. Executing UKR soldiers is also a war crimes. Would you like me to list more of them?

  3. It is actually a estimate of total number of dead and injured, both sides. Neither side is releasing numbers becuase? tell me why neither side want accurate figures in the public domain. It aint good for moral... your welcome. The numbers dead and injured are state secrets in both UKR and RUS

  4. I have answered this twice previously. See Oligacrhs facilitating agent movement around europe (hint Private yauchts/ planes) Russian sabotage has taken place throughout europe for more than a decade since it first invaded Ukraine, Crimea eastern regions. there have been military compounds attacked,

  5. Roman was/ is a facilitor for the Russian state or local parlance fixer. Like all the oligarchs, their networks feed back into the Kremlin. (despite his protests of innocence) After targeting the oligarchs, we've now seen UK/EU/ US target the netowrk of fixers who helped the oligarchs. examples below.

How a network of enablers have helped Russia’s oligarchs...

UK sanctions Abramovich and Usmanov's financial fixers in...

New sanctions announced target those who have knowingly assisted sanctioned Russia oligarchs to hide their assets in complex financial networks.
  6. If you say so... not for the EU or UK who all sanctioned Roman and other for civilian ties to the Rus military.

  7. I dont read Russian propaganda, no tin foil hat needed.

  8. Again, the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan were not illegal. Russia's invasion of Ukraine is. You need to get your head around Int Humaitarian law...

  9. This is my last post to you, Im simply wasting my time with someone who is raising Russian/ troll farm points. Leave your russian info bubble, same advice Zelenskyy gave Trump im gving you now and We've just seen what happens to folk who live in it.. Trump/ Vance/ Elon have just attempted to subjegate Ukrain for their own financial ends and for the benefit of Putin. A nasty dictator who will have his men throw you out the window - but Putin/Roman is the good guy right... because you cant be critical of him.

  10. Thanks Roman, it was lovely times and happy memories. Sorry it didnt work out but it is better this way than to be under the Russian Jackboot you made your money from.

Didnt want to go to private messages, but i wont be posting any more on this as I agree with other fans. I think there's some milage being public about it and perhaps it can help some Chelsea fans understand why things happened the way they did because they still chant his name.
