Its an indication on just how f**ked up this sport is now that the instant we sell anyone the talk is all about book value, FFP, PSR and all that other utter sh*te rather than you know, the stuff on the f**king football pitch.

    No one (no sane person anyway) is claiming we made fortune. I think we did well with moving on mistakes we made in the market. Not all buys work out and I am sure no one claimed (sane ones) they all will. I was opposed to signing Palmer when I first heard it. Didn't really understand why we'd pay such a fee for him. What do I know.

    No one is trashing Roman. This is just the run of the mill 'the new everyone' are all horrible/idiots/stupid/f**k off/leave my club conversation to tennis back with 'maybe there is a plan, maybe there is something to it' play we've done the last couple of years.

    Not sure what the bonuses are or if they are easily attainable. Maybe they were not published.

    Its not really about KDH. he did a job for us and can leave with his head held high. but we have had a loss on Felix, Sterling, there'll be many others.

    Currently, Tyrick George is being lined up to sell so we can sign simons or Garnacho who just are not upgrades on George who has a "higher ceiling" to use a phrase people band about on here.

    So, we have a collection of keepers, defenders and attackers who after signing havent really gone up in value.

    We did well with Felix also after for some reason buying him. Maybe related to Gallagher.

    Sterling was a Boehly/Eghbali buy. Those two didn't do too well compared to the SD's who to me have done very well.

    Garnacho looks to be a bit of a flip-piece/let's hope type of player. If he doesn't fit in/perform we can recoup probably all the money for him. MU seems to be in a bit of a trouble and he will be well under market value. I think Enzo Fernandez and Anselmino can help him fit in. And vouch for him as well. But simply as a reinforcement I don't see Garnacho as just a squad option.

    Don't think many on here want Garnacho. But it's a huge stretch to say George has a higher ceiling. Not many people on here have seen a player that looks like a future world beater.

    George on loan is a positive move for his development. He isn't going to get the game time he needs here to kick on.

    Garnacho for £20-30m could be some cracking business....More than that and the risk is too much.
