There’s no doubt it’s going to be a rough start to the season, but I’d be surprised if we adapted to a completely new system instantly.

If we do eventually start looking good he'll probably get sacked like Poch was

We're being run by Tottenham fans

Sarri nearly overthrew Juventus' Serie A dominance with Napoli whilst playing great football

He was infinitely more qualified for the job than Maresca

3rd best defence in the league under Sarri with Kepa, Luiz, and Alonso in defence.

We can’t defend worth dick under Maresca.

The excuses fans are making are really reaching at this point. This squad doesn't just look behind teams because those teams are a week or two ahead in preparation, they look completely clueless. We look less ready for the season than we did when we played Wrexham.

Only 4th game, need to give it time. Weve played well at times. I know we lost to celtic 4-0 but we played well and were playing well here even though were losing 4-1. Just been unlucky.

We haven't been unlucky. You're not unlucky conceding 8 goals in two separate games, it's just sh*t defending.

Before tonight City conceded 9 in 3 games and didn't win any of them, reckon their fans were crying as much as you lot are?

The problem with playing with 3 CB's when attacking is that when the turnover of possession happens (which is a lot) we enter desperation mode. The entire thing just breaks down. During this pre-season, how many times have we seen the likes of James, Colwill and and one of the other defenders completely isolated and the opposition having players over lapping? It's happening every few minutes. Take that into next season and we're going to be on the end of a few 4, 5 or 6 goal hammerings.

Getting fed up of all the arm waving of complaints from the players.

A lot of them are not as good as they think, or we were led to believe.

Like I said after we beat Club America, let's see how we do against a proper team. Here's the answer. Heck we were torn up by Wrexham.

Someone mentioned AVB earlier, Enzo may well just be another AVB, tactialy naive and stubborn.

Doesnt matter if we get hammered, there are lots of positives. The players are trying.

No, because they won't have to worry about starting the likes of Ortega, Phillips (at CB) Esbrand, O'Reilly, and McAtee and then bring on players like Scott Carson, Ndala, Galvez, Susuho, Oboavwudou, and Fatah. The majority of the players we have fielded in pre-season will be our starting 11 most weeks.
