Sarri nearly overthrew Juventus' Serie A dominance with Napoli whilst playing great football

He was infinitely more qualified for the job than Maresca

Sure. totally agree.

Sarri also lost 6-0 to City and the crowd at the Bridge would often serenade Sarri with "You don't know what you're doing"

No, because they won't have to worry about starting the likes of Ortega, Phillips (at CB) Esbrand, O'Reilly, and McAtee and then bring on players like Scott Carson, Ndala, Galvez, Susuho, Oboavwudou, and Fatah. The majority of the players we have fielded in pre-season will be our starting 11 most weeks.

But they've also been part of the city system for years, comparing these tactics to how we've played under the previous managers is completely different, they take time to learn.

They look much better with players in their natural positions; a left winger on the left, a right winger on the right, a true 9 in the middle, looks like a real team.

The not so funny thing is that those saying such and such club are ahead of us in preparation time won't be able to use that excuse in two weeks time when it will be us ahead of City in preparation time. Walker, Stones, Rodri, Foden, De Bruyne, half of their starting 11 is still to return, the only players we are waiting on is Cucurella and Palmer.

Can’t see many of those players ready for the first game.  So if Enzo picks his best 11 we have a good chance to take points off City before they get relegated to the conference league.

I think we’ll get there, I really do.

When it clicks, it looks good. There are sparks of the end goal showing, particularly going forward but they’re being covered up by costly defensive mistakes right now.

Take out those two, five minute spells where we utterly collapsed, it was fairly even.
