I live 5 miles from City’s ground and have never seen as many City fans in one place as in Columbus tonight.

Pre-season games are mostly meaningless.  71,000 yanks watching the game.  Doing the 'wave'.

The not so funny thing is that those saying such and such club are ahead of us in preparation time won't be able to use that excuse in two weeks time when it will be us ahead of City in preparation time. Walker, Stones, Rodri, Foden, De Bruyne, half of their starting 11 is still to return, the only players we are waiting on is Cucurella and Palmer.

We had around 8 massive mistakes that game and only conceded 4 , that’s a positive

Can’t see many of those players ready for the first game.  So if Enzo picks his best 11 we have a good chance to take points off City before they get relegated to the conference league.

We weren't awful, but individual mistakes cost us in 3 of the goals we conceded. I hope that experiment is over with some of the positions we put players in, we looked so much better once Noni, Sterling and Guiu were on, it was a lot more balanced.

I think we’ll get there, I really do.

When it clicks, it looks good. There are sparks of the end goal showing, particularly going forward but they’re being covered up by costly defensive mistakes right now.

Take out those two, five minute spells where we utterly collapsed, it was fairly even.
