What happened! Was Havertz not playing today? 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

He and Sterling were on the pitch, not sure you can class it as "playing"..

That w**ker Jamie Redknapp trying to say it wasnt a red, Ben White would have got there

NO SAKA NO HOPE

about time Arsenal had a few of their first teamers out, lost Saliba two seasons ago and they blew the league, fell away at the end last season when Saka missed a couple of games

lets see how good they are next week against Liverpool without Saliba

I don’t think Arsenal are good enough to beat City in the title race. I do wonder if City will slow down especially without Rhodri but we’ll see. Be interesting to see if Liverpool can continue being so strong. Personally I think Slot is on a new manager bounce.

I say this now prior to the game tomorrow, but since Firmino and Mane moved on, and Salah has slowed considerably, I think Liverpool are not as strong as they used to be.

Sure they've still got players there from the Klopp era, but they are on borrowed time going forward.

City don’t look anything like with Rodri and KDB in the side.

The way the dominos are falling, I think we have a genuine outside chance of the title this season, well ahead of schedule !

Arsenal and City have gone backwards since last season, and Liverpool are yet to be tested ... and we are ahead of everyone else right now, including Villa.

85 points I think will be the number to clinch it.

I'm not seeing it, even as an outside chance. Defensively and at home, I think we have been really poor so far this season. I'm not confident enough that we will grab enough wins in this tricky period and wouldn't be surprised if we are sitting outside the top 5 by the end of it.

Looks like they've taken a leaf out of Arsenal's book - nudged the keeper to put him off and then Stones put it in... cheating to me.

match of the day last night showed the incident from higher up camera...

when Stones scored, they put a timer on screen,  the wolves players just accepted it down on their knees, keeper laying on his back, slowly they got up, 29 seconds later, Gary O'neill  saw a replay and run screaming to the forth official...

Walcott said if they felt it was a foul by Silva then the keeper and the defenders would have been surrounding the referee, there was none of that, Benitiz and Murphy agreed with him

Say what they bloody like can't they!

To me City have watched what Ben White's (dark arts) been able to get away with and decided to have a try themselves...

He's backing into the keeper and putting him off...

image.png.4aa149fed79be23a302bc97f580e6773.png

Next thing he's crouching down on the floor..

At no time is Silva anywhere near the ball...

My conclusion - he's there, just like Ben White is for Arsenal, to impede or put the goalie off and give his team an (IMHO) unfair advantage.

How long will it be before we have every team in the EPL doing something similar?

1. The goalie is nearly 12 inches taller then silva and a lot bulkier, HE SHOULD HAVE PUSHED HIM AWAY OR COULD HAVE TRIED TO PUNCH THE BALL

2. Your right, Arsenal get away with it all the time, we should try it sometime, surround the keeper, watch our corners, we do they stupid thing of all standing on the penalty spot, and then they breakbut go no where near the keeper

And what about if the keeper wants to come out and try and take the ball...?

He's prevented from getting a decent run up because he's got Silva in front of him...

ok we agree to disagree, can i ask your opinion on Salibas sending off, martin keown made himself look a mug on talksport this morning, he said that Howard Webb played a big part in it, because sky showed Webb in the stand with an ear piece attached to a phone and he was communicating with VAR, Martin Oneill told him he was being stupid, he then said that it was the same as Tosin in the Liverpool game, i thought the difference was Colwill was near enough to get the ball
