No doubt the figures have been arrived at using some sort of publication but I simply can’t reconcile some of these numbers.

For instance if these are 23/24 numbers Chelsea’s total wage bill, and that would include all employees , players and coaching staff etc in total came to £296.5 million. Not £338 million.

I get your point re Arsenal it’s extremely interesting how their wage bill is getting bigger, significantly year on year. It will depend how their income streams have grown because they are by my guesstimate getting close to the 70% squad cost.

One little fact for you is that Oxlaide Chamberlain is still their highest ever fee received when he went to Liverpool and he generated just slightly not that more than Hall did when we sold him to Newcast

The number come deloitte football money league not all of them but most of the big team come from deloitte

I thought it was just Arsenal overhyping their players as usual but this kid is unreal. Looks like they have another Wilshere/Fabregas on their hands.

I usually don't like to talk about kids but this is against Newcastle senior team. Very impressive

I’m amazed they are selling him, always thought he was a great player.

Clearly trying to get in Isak though so gotta sell.

Already signed Ekitiké too. I liked Diaz, real contributor, but arguably came up short with goals.

I don't think selling Diaz is bad deal. They have Ekitike, wirtz (look like a damn good player)

Plus Diaz is 28. Pool is getting ready for their post Salah era.

He does but they are mad exposing him to the wider football world at this point but more dangerously for the player himself he is far too young in terms of physical development to even be exposed to the demands of senior football.

Add to the fact that he is too young to be on either a professional or scholarship contract means he can’t train freely, still has to be in full time education etc

And has to change separately from the senior players. That aside, I very much doubt this means they will use him at senior level. It was a blooding, giving him a taste. Nwaneri was also 15 when given his first taste. Harvey Elliot was 16. Plenty of precedents.

There are but they genuinely believe he is the new coming.

It should be well and widely understood that none of these websites like Capology have any knowledge of player wages and agents have repeatedly confirmed they are wildly off. The Deloitte Football Money League also only has access to the same publicly available figures.

Isak is a free signing for Liverpool. The new contract for Salah means they are guaranteed to get a massive fee for him from Saudi in the next two years.

The only question will be how & when the Diarra decision will be implemented into the transfer rules and handled by FFP/PSR rules in the future. Worst case scenario, Liverpool will never regain a cent on any of the fees they spend this season.

If the kids start to really play in senior team then it is a problem.

30 min in a friendly is actually a good thing, the kids can have a feel the different in power n speed in senior team.

Capoloy number make very little sense.130k for Palmer, no chance 😂😂

Unless it is a public company you will never know the real number but I prefer to use Deloitte number. It make more sense.

Newcastle's sporting director leaves the club and Eddie Howe is in charge of the transfer window...

What a sh*t show.

Been an ongoing power struggle since Staveley sold out. Eddie wins. For now. Now it's on him.

I reckon Newcastle are going to have a poor season. They’ll lose Isak and struggle to replace him. Wilson gone as well.

They just appointed Atalanta’s technical director, probably too late to impact this window.
