He did, and deserves credit for it.

We need to see if far more frequently though. Because, to date, for a PL seasoned attacker, he has been very disappointing.

Needs to back it up over multiple games. How many times have our wingers had a good game, only to disappear or play bad in the next one? Too often this season.

The wide men are all frustrating. Probably been suggested before but if only we could combine all 4 and create one really good one.

The pace of Mudryk, work rate of Neto, footwork and stepovers of Sancho and eye for a goal (sometimes) of Madueke. All 4 have been very hit & miss.

Needs to get multiple games first. He hasn't. Maresca prefers Madueke. Neto offers so much more.

He started multiple consecutive games and has only played 138 minutes fewer than Madueke.

OK - he has started 3 PL games in a row once then. but other than that, never more than two in a row, 24 games into the PL season.

I think a player will need more than that as a run of games to build rhythm and consistency, and relationships/inter-play with team mates, especially in the first season at a new club.

He wasn't in the squad because of an injury, he walked straight back into the team after that game. He started 5 games in a row when available. ok i'm being petty now.

He's never been a goalscorer, he's always struggled in this area, so I'm not sure why getting a few more games in a row is suddenly going to change that. He was awful in December and January, one of our worst players, and that was with most of the team being out of form.

Yep. We don't have one winger I would trust to start most games.

Annnnnd he immediately proved me right. He couldn't back it up in the very next game, he was just running around like a headless chicken.

Our wingers are the pits. One does well when he comes on as sub and then looks sh*t next game. The only consistent thing about all of our wingers is how consistently bad they are.

Can you remember when Neto shushed the fans after scoring then the very next game proved the fans right by being sh*t again? Funny guy. 

This is the issue with all these youngsters for me, most of them think they're far better than they actually are. We've spent a billion pounds on egotistical losers.

I saw a funny chart on Neto but I can't find it, it is something like 

He is better on the left -> poor performance -> he is better on the right ->poor performance ->

Neto has scored a couple of goals but other than that, the only plus he has over Madueke and Sancho is that he appears to put in a bit more effort and tries to track back. But he has still been very average and is another player who spends too much time remonstrating with officials rather than playing to the whistle.

Didn't realise he was nearly 25. Maybe this is one of the older egotistical losers. 

Ironic that he would almost certainly have been very good for us if we persisted with Pochettino for one more season.

Terrible fit for Maresca's style of football and he's been really poor all season as a result.

Sums it up. His best work at Wolves was being free to roam, not glued to the touchline.
