He had a good appearance yes but I'm not ready to jump on the bandwagon just yet. Easy to look better than you are when everyone around you are in such bad form.

Wouldn’t read much into his performance against Arsenal; the game had opened up in the 2nd half, and was in transition. That is where he thrives. He isn’t a starter for a top PL team where clubs sit back and hit you on the break.

Didn’t realise appearances added years to a player, he must be close to retirement now at the ripe old age of 21.

I thought he was hopeless last night. He seems to struggle with the easy stuff and then pops up with unlikely/difficult goals like the ones against Arsenal. Wish there was more consistency with simple things, because you can tell the passion and desire is there.

Dreadful again last night, just loses the ball far too easily far too often.

He can’t beat a man unless it’s on the break with his pace but he is meant to be a bargain at £40 million? I’m not seeing anything that would stop me selling him for that right now.

Added to that he cost us 2 points against Bournemouth when he didn’t mark his man. Same happened at Utd so I don’t believe he’s improved defensively either.

Cheese will probably be along shortly with a graph or two to show how he’s our most effective winger. If we were a counterattacking team I think he’d do better but he’s so far away from what Maresca and Rosenior ask of their wingers.

I’d normally give a new player more than 6 months to settle but I’ve seen enough.

Both are very average footballers. One is in his prime, cost £60m, been settled at the club for over a year and plays every minute.

The other is 21 years old, cost half the price, and only just joined.

One gets player of the season shouts, the other gets lambasted before a game even kicks off. Perhaps you should be asking other posters about their hypocrisy.

Garnacho loses the ball very easily and is brushed off like a little girl sometimes. He really needs to work on his physical strength. Garnacho is very young, I give you that but at the same time, he has several games when, where he is bad, he is really bad. Even against much inferior teams , eg Charlton, Pathos. Neto productivity is annoying in the final third, but he has much better balance than Neto and does not lose ball so easily. Like I say, I believe there is a good player in Garnacho, but I think Neto is better than him. Like I say, Maresca and Rosenior start Neto over him for a reason.

And then spending your time mocking one of our own players and making troll posts is really annoying, especially when your meant to be a supporter. When you gave Garnacho for that 'assist' against Bournemouth and another poster called you out on it, your response that your showing support for our player. I am looking at your posts in the Neto thread and it is constant posts mocking him, like seriously, it gets a bit pathetic sometimes.

This is where stats are misleading because they will appear to make players look better than they are. I was at the game and Garnacho was by far the worst player on the pitch. The fans were getting increasingly annoyed with him and you could hear the expressions in the ground every time he got the ball and messed up and he is lucky he stayed on for 72 mins. For eg it says Garnacho was 2 out of 2 successful dribbles. That is crazy because he had so many times where he was dispossessed and I do not recall him beating his man once. Also I am pretty sure @The Boehly Babes is you under another username. You both pretty much post the same stuff about Neto and do things in tandem.

More goal threat, more chances created, actually completed some crosses and more defensive output. I recommend watching the game more intently, or perhaps less shandies on the concourse before kick off.

Just two spunky young fellows with the ability to see the absolute absurdity of praising our worst winger while giving a younger more promising winger absolute pelters for a slightly better performance.

I’d put it down to Garnacho having a dislikable face but that doesn’t explain why people then defend Neto and his Operation Yewtree facial hair, which puts him in the same category of punchability.

Thats the exact order. Neto very underwhelming bottom hapf of Premier leagrlue player, Garnscho at best a mid table French league player and Gittens the left midfield piece on the subutteo table.

We may need to consider playing Esteviao on left but it seems a loss to partially blunt such an exciting young talent.
