Because they are doing what they are asked to do

I'm not sure Eghbali and Boehly specifically wanted Garnacho, Delap and Gittens instead of relying on the "experience" of their hand picked sporting directors to find young players that are the best in the world and can help this football club be Top 4 regulars when instead these players should be in the Championship.

It amounts to the same thing. Ignorant owners hiring incompetent SDs who make silly signings. We are 9th. At what point, if ever, do the owners wake up to the incompetence?

It's very strange because in typical American capitalist/corporate settings there is always a fall guy upstairs to save face. These directors are bulletproof it seems which begs so many questions.

Not happening. The SDs are the hill BlueCo, and sadly, Chelsea, will die on.

Do you think best young player in the world will be cheap?

Not much is publicly being made of the sporting directors incompetence.

Yes the owners are bad and are constantly being reminded of blowing 2bn but the SDs need to be named and pressured in the media for such a squad building failure.

Most of the mainstream media types who cover Chelsea are bought and paid for by the club (in access mostly, maybe brown envelopes??)

It will take a seismic focus by all people online, streamers, podcasters, people here, etc. To put the blame on them where it belongs.

This is diabolical.

As we're here getting all worked up about changing things, the board seems to be in an entirely different place plotting things on a level we can't even fathom.

De Zerbi is asking Paul Winstanley why all the supporters say you and your mate Stewart are Cnuts?

A 100% validation that Nizaar Kinsella is in the club pockets, nestled in next to Matt Law

This gaslightling bullsh*t should be held up and ridiculed by proper journalists for the guff that it is. The inference of the comment and the picture is that there there may well be some accountability at a directorial level for the the sheer incompetence at such a grand scale that has been perpetrated here.

And of course, as would normally be the case, any such deep dive annual review would be prefaced with a 60% pay rise for all concerned. Hmm.

They aren't going anywhere, they aren't changing sh*t.

It'll never end.

It’s the same sh*t, I keep waiting for the first team players. It’s been years now thinking ok one for the future where’s the ones for now and they never come then the ones for the future disappear without hardly a trace while some actually get a game and make us worse.

Make it stop!

If they had any remaining sense in their pathetic little minds they would be tapping up both Senesi and Stones to join the club this summer. Both on a free.

That's 2 experienced defenders out the way without transfer allocation funds being utilized.

Stones contract will be blocked by the board unless it is super cheap.

Only major thing to note in that is that winstanley and Stewart have each sacked four junior analysts apiece from their respective staffs (for poor performance reflecting on the boss.)

How much do you think psg salary is?

Doue fixed salary is 132k euros a week. So about £115k.

Garnacho is on £110k a week.

Neto is on £160k a week.

Mudryk is on £100k a week.

Gittens is on £108k a week.

Why do you keep spouting this as if what they're doing is what they're asked, when clearly it isn't.

According to capology (I don;t know how reliable the place is, but it is widely used), these are the two club's wages in 2025/26:

Chelsea: image.png

PSG: image.png (in sterling, these are: £3,075,462; £159,956,639; £221,883,141; £6,152,370)

The gross fixed salaries are not that much higher at PSG, nothing that a FOS contract wouldn't fix, and the total wages include bonuses. There is probably the clue, we win fcuk all, the salaries remain lower as there are no bonuses.

None of the salary sites are reliable.
