Djordje Petrovic? (will be gone soon)
Kepa Arrizabalaga (gone)
Renato Veiga? (would keep - but likely to be sold for decent profit)
Axel Disasi (needs to be sold - not good enough)
Benoît Badiashile? (think he will stay as a left footed CB)
Ben Chilwell ( sold or more likely loaned - with us subsidising his salary)
Caleb Wiley? (loan I guess)
Alfie Gilchrist (think he will be sold - but could be loaned)
Lesley Ugochukwu (not good enough, not needed for depth any longer - sell)
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall? (probably an unpopular opinion, but I would keep him. He can do a job as a utility man in multiple positions, seems like a good guy, and runs his heart out.)
Christopher Nkunku (surprised he has featured so much in the CWC - thought he was out the door already. Lets see - perhaps a surprise)
Mykhaylo Mudryk (banned)
Raheem Sterling (no idea who is going to pick up the tab on this loser - a transfer for a nominal fee, or a loan with us paying most of his salary)
João Félix (one of my fav's - but cant see a way he stays - Can benfica afford?)
Amando Broja (lower EPL/champ/european move)
David Datro Fofana (lower english or european move - france, greece, holland?)

Chukky (think he will be gone permenently. a shame)

Jackson (dont care what happens to him - as long as it is not at this club. A waste of space)

Fofana/Tosin/Trev (not sure which - but dont think all of these will be in the frame...and therefore, 1 likely to go.)

Petrovic, Nkunku, and Madueke are the only 3 I can see us selling for a decent fee. I would add Jackson too, but I don't think we will sell this season.

Chukwuemeka I would like to keep, but I think they will try and sell. I'm not sure we can make any money on him though, so maybe they will try another loan.

If we're depserate, I expect Chalobah to be at risk of being put on the transfer list again.

Disasi, I can see us taking a loss on, and Badiashile will either stay or also be sold at a loss. I just don't see who would be stupid enough to pay what we paid for them. Dewbury-Hall, I can't see anybody paying what we paid for him, so wouldn't be surprised if he is kept around as a fringe player. Ugochukwu (jesus, the amount of money wasted on these players) another one we probably won't be able to make money on, so it's probably another loan.

Felix is tough to move on biggest of how much we paid for him. He's open to leaving, but if we can't get the money back, then how is that good for us?

Chilwell and Sterling are on high wages, so they are difficult to move on. Saudi could bail us out on Sterling, but I'm not seeing any rumours or anything. I think Chilwell feels he has a lot more to give at this level of the game still, but he's going to have to take a big paycut.

Veiga, likely to be sold.

D.D Fofana, Washington, Wiley, Kellyman, Broja, Slonina, Guiu etc....who knows? probably a mix of loans and letting go for a small transfer fee.

Penders is the only one I expect to be loaned out with the idea of bringing him back to eventually become our number 1.

I think the only way we'll be able to bin off Sterling is if we either loan him out or if we can find an agreement on severing his contract and pay him off.

We should but i doubt the owners will be happy to do that.

Am I imagining things or does Badiashile magically get injured every time the transfer window opens. He is out injured again.

Personally think he should have been sold 2yrs ago.

Should never have been signed in the first place.

All of these players have been devalued by ourselves either by our treatment of them or just their sheer volume.

This is why none of these deals are happening now, wait for the last week of the window…. Fire sale.

It really is a mess of their own making.

a fire sale is the best case scenario

The worst case is if we don't do a fire sale

That's a lot of money going out each week for nothing really.

Also seem to remember the name Dujuan Richards another young forward that we signed some time ago, is he still with us?

Out for a while last season with an ACL injury. Just another in a line of pointless signings by the club. We paid £17m for him, and you would think there would be a solid developmental plan not just stockpile.

It's insane how wasteful we've been as a club

I've literally never heard of him

I know of Kellyman and Mheuka but not him

I thought the idea was to develop players. Instead we are selling players not long after we've bought them, some without even getting a chance to prove themselves

The analysis reflects the current state as of 12:46 AM PDT on Saturday, July 12, 2025, and considers the complexities of football contract data, including transfers and potential wage variations. #### Background and Methodology The task involved estimating the wages of 16 footballers, primarily associated with Chelsea FC, with one notable exception, Kepa Arrizabalaga, who transferred to Arsenal in July 2025. To compile this data, multiple sources were consulted, including TeamTalk, Capology, Spotrac, The Chelsea Chronicle, SalarySport, AiScore, and The Athletic, among others. These sources provide a mix of official payroll tables, contract details, and news reports, with a focus on the most recent information available in July 2025. Given the dynamic nature of football contracts, wages can vary due to bonuses, performance-related pay, and renegotiations. The analysis aimed to cross-reference data to identify consensus where possible, acknowledging discrepancies where they arose. For players like Raheem Sterling and João Félix, where significant differences were noted, the most recent and authoritative sources were prioritized. #### Detailed Wage Estimates by Player Below is a detailed breakdown of each player's estimated weekly wage, supported by the sources consulted and any relevant notes on transfers or contract changes. ##### Djordje Petrovic - Estimated Weekly Wage: £50,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025) - Notes: Petrovic remains with Chelsea FC, and this figure aligns with recent contract details, though Spotrac listed a lower £25,000, suggesting possible updates in 2025. Given TeamTalk's recency, £50,000 is adopted. ##### Kepa Arrizabalaga - Estimated Weekly Wage: £75,000 - Source: Capology (2024-2025 season, while on loan at Bournemouth) and The Athletic (July 2025, confirming reduced salary post-extension) - Notes: Kepa transferred to Arsenal in early July 2025 for £5 million, following a loan spell at Bournemouth. Prior to the move, his salary was significantly reduced when he signed a contract extension with Chelsea, extending to June 2026. Capology lists his 2024-2025 wage at £75,000 weekly, and given the recent transfer, this is likely his current wage at Arsenal. This reflects his role as a backup to David Raya, with no higher figure reported post-transfer. ##### Renato Veiga - Estimated Weekly Wage: £25,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025) and Spotrac (2024-2025, matching at £25,000) - Notes: Veiga remains with Chelsea, and the wage is consistent across sources, indicating stability in his contract. ##### Axel Disasi - Estimated Weekly Wage: £80,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025) and Spotrac (2024-2025, matching) - Notes: Disasi's wage is consistent across recent reports, reflecting his role at Chelsea with a contract until June 2029. ##### Benoît Badiashile - Estimated Weekly Wage: £90,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025) and Spotrac (matching) - Notes: Badiashile's wage is stable, with a contract extending to June 2030, aligning with Chelsea's investment in young defenders. ##### Ben Chilwell - Estimated Weekly Wage: £200,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025) and Spotrac (matching), though Chelsea FC Latest News (February 2025) listed £100,000, which is likely outdated. - Notes: Chilwell's high wage reflects his status as a key defender, with a contract until June 2027. The consensus between TeamTalk and Spotrac supports £200,000. ##### Caleb Wiley - Estimated Weekly Wage: £12,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025), with Spotrac listing a lower £2,000, suggesting a possible youth contract. - Notes: Wiley's low wage indicates he may be on a developmental contract, with TeamTalk's higher figure likely reflecting a recent promotion or adjustment. ##### Alfie Gilchrist - Estimated Weekly Wage: £10,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025), with Spotrac at £3,000, again suggesting a youth contract. - Notes: Similar to Wiley, Gilchrist's wage reflects his status as a young player, with TeamTalk's figure adopted for recency. ##### Lesley Ugochukwu - Estimated Weekly Wage: £45,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025) and Spotrac (matching) - Notes: Ugochukwu's wage is consistent, with a contract option to 2030, indicating Chelsea's long-term investment. ##### Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - Estimated Weekly Wage: £80,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025) and Spotrac (matching), with Chelsea FC Latest News also at £80,000. - Notes: Dewsbury-Hall's wage reflects his midfield role, with a contract until June 2029. ##### Christopher Nkunku - Estimated Weekly Wage: £195,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025), Spotrac, and Chelsea FC Latest News (all matching) - Notes: Nkunku's high wage aligns with his attacking contributions, with a contract until June 2029. ##### Mykhaylo Mudryk - Estimated Weekly Wage: £100,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025), Spotrac, and Chelsea FC Latest News (all matching) - Notes: Mudryk's wage reflects his potential, with a contract until June 2031. ##### Raheem Sterling - Estimated Weekly Wage: £325,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025) and Capology (March 2025, for 2025-2026 season at £325,000), though Spotrac listed £162,500, and Chelsea FC Latest News (February 2025) also at £162,500. - Notes: There is a significant discrepancy, with Capology and TeamTalk suggesting a higher wage, likely reflecting a recent contract adjustment. Given the recency of TeamTalk and Capology, £325,000 is adopted, noting Sterling's status as Chelsea's highest-paid player. ##### João Félix - Estimated Weekly Wage: £130,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025), with Spotrac at £170,000 and Chelsea FC Latest News at £65,000, indicating variability. - Notes: The discrepancy suggests possible reporting differences, but TeamTalk's recent figure is prioritized, reflecting his long-term contract signed in the summer window. ##### Armando Broja - Estimated Weekly Wage: £40,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025) and Spotrac (matching), with Chelsea FC Latest News not listing, supporting consistency. - Notes: Broja's wage reflects his striker role, with a contract until June 2028. ##### David Datro Fofana - Estimated Weekly Wage: £30,000 - Source: TeamTalk (July 1, 2025), Spotrac, and Chelsea FC Latest News (all matching) - Notes: Fofana's wage is consistent, with a contract until June 2029, indicating a developmental role. #### Special Considerations: Transfers and Wage Discrepancies - Kepa Arrizabalaga's Transfer: Confirmed by The Athletic and BBC Sport, Kepa moved to Arsenal in early July 2025 for £5 million, with a three-year deal. His wage was reduced prior to this, with Capology listing £75,000 weekly for 2024-2025, likely carried over to Arsenal. This reflects his backup role and the reduced salary post-extension. - Discrepancies: Notable for Raheem Sterling (£325,000 vs. £162,500 in some sources) and João Félix (£130,000 vs. £170,000/£65,000), highlighting the challenge of real-time contract data. The analysis prioritized recent sources like TeamTalk and Capology for consistency. - Youth Players: Caleb Wiley and Alfie Gilchrist have lower wages (£12,000 and £10,000, respectively), likely reflecting youth contracts, with TeamTalk's figures adopted over Spotrac's lower estimates for recency. #### Supporting URLs - [TeamTalk - Chelsea Contract Details](https://www.teamtalk.com/chelsea/the-key-contract-details-of-every-chelsea-first-team-player-expiry-dates-weekly-wages-agents) - [Capology - Chelsea FC Salaries](https://www.capology.com/club/chelsea/salaries/) - [Spotrac - Chelsea FC Payroll](https://www.spotrac.com/epl/chelsea-fc/cap/_/year/2024) - [The Athletic - Kepa Arrizabalaga Transfer](https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6408327/2025/06/07/kepa-arrizabalaga-arsenal-chelsea/) - [BBC Sport - Kepa to Arsenal](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/ce377ek2nn3o) This analysis ensures a comprehensive and up-to-date overview, acknowledging the dynamic nature of football contracts and the need for cross-referencing multiple sources for accuracy.

Saudi seems the only way Sterling leaves, but why would he? He's got a 5 and 7 year old child, why would he uproot their lives for a few years when he's already making the money he is in London. I think we're stuck with him until the end of his contract.

Maybe he'll waddle off to Saudi if they double his money. Also no tax.

One last big pay day.
