Clattenburg and Shearer talking utter rubbish, he backed into him and the slightest contact was made when he was already on his way down. The rules don't say contact, the rules say contact that unfairly impedes. No wonder refs in this country are so terrible.

Bayern or PSG is a hard final opponent but Arsenal should make the final. Atletico are pretty average.

Barca have the most red cards in the Champions league over the last 10 seasons (12 sending offs). They have a real problem with needing to sacrifice the whole game when it’s a last man situation.

Arsenal have already hammered Athelico this season, so nice easy sailing into a champions league final for them.

Don;t count out Sporting. Arsenal are sh*tting the bed at the moment and must be petrified of getting knocked out of another competition with City breathing down their necks in the league.

The BL curse striking again. He's talented but the BL allowed him time and space to do his thing. The speed, pressure and superior defending in the PL is another matter. He just looks lightweight.

1964 . We went to Highbury to watch their Fa cup game v Liverpool. Before the KO Liverpool fans were packed behind the goal and chucked beer bottles at the old bill.

Maybe I would feel sorry for them if they weren't wishing for us to go into liquidation when Abramovich had the club stolen from him. I remember fans all over the country even demanding it just for being associated with a Russian. It made me feel a lot less sympathetic to any club going through a tough time going forward.

Arsenal are going to flub this.
