Clattenburg and Shearer talking utter rubbish, he backed into him and the slightest contact was made when he was already on his way down. The rules don't say contact, the rules say contact that unfairly impedes. No wonder refs in this country are so terrible.

Anyway, match over with that goal.

Barca have the most red cards in the Champions league over the last 10 seasons (12 sending offs). They have a real problem with needing to sacrifice the whole game when it’s a last man situation.

Arsenal have already hammered Athelico this season, so nice easy sailing into a champions league final for them.

Don;t count out Sporting. Arsenal are sh*tting the bed at the moment and must be petrified of getting knocked out of another competition with City breathing down their necks in the league.

I just cannot see Sporting winning at Arsenal

What did Liverpool see in Wirtz to splash out £100m, atleast Enzo had a World Cup to justify his price tag.

The BL curse striking again. He's talented but the BL allowed him time and space to do his thing. The speed, pressure and superior defending in the PL is another matter. He just looks lightweight.

That’s about how I feel about Garnacho, lightweight, although we had the advantage of seeing that for ourselves in the prem before we bought him🙄

EVERYONE is again Spurs ! Quite right too!!

"But it’s the media, the F365s, the commentators. Jeez, the commentators in the Spurs Sunderland game yesterday were dreadful. Every Brian Brobbey elbow or a malicious, injury intending push was met with ‘ahhh what a physical player he is!’ while every Spurs foul or mistake was met with disdain. It’s the same every week.

F365, every podcast, every radio show, everyone delighted to see Spurs gone.

Even the referees, that’s the scariest thing. Every marginal call going against Spurs. Red cards, inconsistent VAR decisions, even that crazy handball given against Kolo Muani yesterday that came off his head on a breakaway? And when it happens to Spurs, instead of any apology it’s just ‘hah, Spursy!’. Are we the last team in the league this year without a penalty? It’s borderline corruption at this stage.'

1964 . We went to Highbury to watch their Fa cup game v Liverpool. Before the KO Liverpool fans were packed behind the goal and chucked beer bottles at the old bill.

Found this image.. You can see beer bottles by the wall

Maybe I would feel sorry for them if they weren't wishing for us to go into liquidation when Abramovich had the club stolen from him. I remember fans all over the country even demanding it just for being associated with a Russian. It made me feel a lot less sympathetic to any club going through a tough time going forward.
