Qarabag vs Chelsea (UCL) Wednesday 5th November 17:45 GMT

Featured Replies

Decisive HT subs definitely needed

Delap on for George

the 2 CHs on the bench on for Nato & Tosin

Garnacho on for Gittens

He might hook Nato otherwise expect the same players

I think we are going to need an Estevao hat trick to get anything out of this game this evening ...

I think we will need 2 or three more goals from somewhere as Qarabag look more than capable of scoring again. A draw never mind a defeat would be a disaster re qualification.

Have to hook Hato at half-time I'm afraid. Not nice when you f**k up colossally like that, but now he's panicking. Take it on the chin and move onto the next game. He's gonna hate his memories of Azerbaijan so much he might end up joining Greenpeace.

Otherwise that was okay by Maresca standards. Rotating that much is understandable given the fixture pileup and injury/fitness issues we've been experiencing. The game can still be won, just don't f**k up again.

Also, this Qarabag team are not playing a low block, not at all. They are just working hard. There is absolutely no excuse for out team not to be running and pressing all over the pitch. So far there is nothing to support Hato, Gittens, George or Pedro staying on the pitch. Tosin is questionable as well tbh. Its impossible to win any game of football with this amount of players not playing well.

This is the roster…. Every time the manager has to rotate a few positions the drop in quality is simply unacceptable at this level.

Still can’t imagine JP playing anywhere other than 9… way too slow for any other attacking g position.

Lavia is quickly becoming a fad. :/

Team are responding to Jason cundy giving it large to O'Hara on talk sport about Spurs beats a poor Copenhagen. Now we are playing a poor side and are losing.

try being Crystal Palace

They have 5 games in eleven days, 3 games in 5 days and 2 games in 3 days

Maresca will once again be making changes at half time because he f**ked it up from the off. Some of these players performances can't be put down to the manager though.

Hato never learned from his first mistake, he should have noticed the ball was moving too slow across the pitch and he was being pressed heavily. I don't give a sh*t if Maresca wants the CB's passing all over the place, the pitch isn't in the right condition for it. Boot it away.

I can see why people say Kittens when it comes to Gittens. The guy is just way too soft. I've never seen a winger so soft. He does nothing to protect the ball. Anybody goes near him and he losses it. The signs were there on the opening day of the season and he hasn't improved. The Bundesliga is dreadful, it produces absolute pussies.

Joao Pedro doesn't get away with it either. So lazy with his touches and passing. Capable of being a brilliant footballer, but has way too many games like this.

Well, anybody?

100% George is simply not good enough, he is running around like Little Bo Peep trying to find a football, some of his performances this season have been alarmingly feckin awful!

Yeah but they don't have a shiny gold badge and $125m which meant their preseason lasted about 15 minutes.
