No hemming or hawing. You have really livened up this thread. Jeremy does appear to be tailor made for us. A young trim player who fits our pattern. I really thought they were lining him up for this window, but maybe it will be the next one now? Hopefully we shall pocket him in the summer.

Jeremy Jacquet has expressed a preference for joining Chelsea despite interest from multiple clubs.

Talks are ongoing between Rennes and Chelsea about a deal for the 20-year-old centre back.

Ideally, Rennes want to keep the player until the summer.

What's best for Anselmino is to give him some stability FFS. And Jacquet had better ask himself whether he fancies going out on loan to a different club every year or even 6 months.

My knowledge of him is based on others opinions and the suggestion is that he will be a top top player

BordeuzBlue knew Badiasille would be sh*t before we signed him. So we really need his opinion on Jaquet.

What we all know is. . .

1. The money - of course he cannot be worth that. (Also, BlueCo are not in the game of making money buying and selling players in the transfer market. That is a big myth).

2. Apparently Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Liverpool are all interested in signing the player. So he must be 'judged' by a whole bunch of top scouts as being a top 'prospect' and he may even be a 'generational talent' - lol.

3. Do we need yet another potential great CB or do we really need a more experienced CB who is good now? Initially Blueco were buying players of all ages and then they switched to signing youngsters - which to be fair, is a good idea and we brought in some great young players - Caicedo, Palmer, Esta-Wow! - but now the obsession with young players is pathological and perhaps detrimental to a balanced team.

4. Jeremy wants to play for Chelsea apparently - and that is a good thing. Always good to have a player on board who wants to be on board.

5. we should sign him - because there is so much potential in making puns with his name.
