Lets face it, wouldn't expect an awful lot different even if Cucu and Estevao were available. We'll likely approach the game same way we did in second leg of league cup and hope to nick something on the break. Problem is Arsenal know we will do this, and also will attack a lot more this time knowing they need the 3 points. Maybe we will pull off a surprise but given our recent record against them I am not looking forward to this one.

Likely a carbon copy of the league cup game.

I see Tosin in the XI then that’s a wrap.

Well Spurs are doing as expected today.

Ah @Valerie what would you say to a back line of good old uncle Tosin and Badiashile center, Asier Del Horno at left back and Kalid Bouhlarez at right back?

I’ll be en-route to Blighty so will miss the game….so glad I won’t see Arteta cream his nicks and walk away with 3 points. Given the results of Leeds and Burnley I think Liam is way above his station and offering little more than Maresca. Same old way of playing, perhaps even more suicidal at times and same old comedy club at the back…nothing changes and I still expect us to finish 6th or worse when things could have been a different story having chucked away 18points from winning positions…4-0 Arsenal…..I hope I’m wrong.

Think you're right, have no confidence in Liam, he's a smoother talking Maresca, under instructions which he accepts.

Might as well just change this thread to a poll to which player is getting sent off at this rate. My guess is Caicedo.

A red card double from Caicedo would be truly impressive. But I reckon it will be either Enzo or Andre Santos this time. Caicedo will almost certainly get a yellow to rule him out of a couple of games too.

If he's playing I'm going for another red for Cucu. He's a bit bonkers! Slightly off topic but we've just drawn PSG in the CL. After we've pummeled them we face Liverpoo........oh joy!!

I’ve written this season off with the run in we have but we just HAVE to get something out this game. Can’t have this lot and their sh*tty Brap Brap fanbase winning a single thing.

Our results record against them isn't great and yet some of the performances have been good and merited wins.

A whole lot will depend on who is available. If Cucurella is back that will be a huge boost and it would also be good to have Estevao on the bench.

We must NOT start with either Badiashille or Tosin and I'm hoping Gusto won't feature too. Be great to pull off a shock win - the odds aren't great but on our day and all that........

I fear if Cucu is not available that we might see Gusto at LB trying to keep Saka quiet, I hope Hato starts but if Badashielle ends up being next to him we're toast.

I'd play Neto LW instead of a drifting Enzo just for a bit of tracking back.

Can't see much other than a loss here with tactics similar to the second leg in the Carabao.

Cucu and Estevao are both confirmed unavailable for this one. Sounds like Cucu has made some decent progress so perhaps could be back for the Champs League.

I would prefer a natural LB in Hato to be given a start, but I suspect we will go with Gusto. I assume Fofana serves his ban so we also have the worry that Badiashile will be starting. Probably between him and Tosin to start along with Chalobah as it is hard to imagine we will risk starting Sarr.

One other thing to consider is that Reece will not likely start 2 games in a few days. So, assuming he starts Sunday we will be looking at Gusto and Hato against Villa. Another reason to give Hato a start on Sunday. He won't improve unless we give him starts.

Gusto playing left back vs Burnley seems to me to be an indicator of him being tested out there ahead of this game.

Am also expecting us to set up like we did in the caraboo cut second leg

Our record against Arsenal, especially at the Emirates, these past few years is actually comical.

Hope the players have some shame and at least hold them to a draw.
