June 14Jun 14 It's early days so makes sense for the Scots to celebrate while they lead the group as they have tough games ahead.Australia did well too and also have a challenge to get through to the next stage.Brazil looked dangerous going forward yet needed a cracker from Junior to level, think Brazil need better midfielders as they struggled with possession against well organised and hard working Morocco. Strange to see Neymar on the bench.

Might be Arsenal bound this summer for €70m.First time I’ve seen him TBH.My son knows all about him lol. That was some performance for such a young man.Really impressed with him yesterday - should have been MOTM in my opinion.

They had 15 shots on goal to Scotland's 9. Didn't help that McTominay was obviously less than 100% but you've got a lot of work to do, Steve. Get on with it.Realistically, these three points might be the only ones Scotland get. I wouldn’t be in the least bit surprised if they get beaten by both Morocco and Brazil. That was why it was essential for them to beat Haiti.

My issue is that Clark never came to grips with Haiti.

I remember Ounahi was amazing for Morocco last world cup and was destined for a big move. Nothing came to fruition.

June 14Jun 14 Livano Comenencia is mobbed by team-mates after scoring Curacao's first World Cup goal against Germany.
June 14Jun 14 The Blue Lagoon cocktail . . . Curacao and 7-up [very popular in Germany]. Germans looked good.
June 14Jun 14 I know it would be a massive change in football as we know it, but why on earth don’t they stop the clock for these mandatory hydration breaks?Ok, it’s a step towards quarters, but that’s pretty much what it is anyway.

I can't work out why they are having hydration breaks in the last two matches when both have been played in stadiums with the roof on and fully air conditioned.

It’s quarters. But stop the clock.

June 14Jun 14 Arsenal have officially ruined football. The Dutch have gone from total football to long f’in throws. Jesus wept.Rory Delap would be a Ballon d’Or contender if he played today. Edited June 14Jun 14 by Snedger
June 14Jun 14 ITV have got that Postecoglou bloke in their punditry team. I just can’t take anything he says seriously after his efforts at Spurs and Forest.
