He was unbelievably terrible until the last 2 games which he's been far better in and if he can prove he deserves to stay then its probably worth giving him another year, especially if JT leaves in May. Point is theres a lot of ifs and buts between now and the end of the season and its too early to be definitely sending him to the chop.

Much as yet another layer of backstage bureaucracy might not be what we need, once Drogba's contract is up I would like to see him return as some form of ambassador between Mourinho and the players. For guys like Hazard who may have had a falling out with Mourinho, I think it would help if they had someone who had the complete trust and affection of both sides who could smooth things over. Aside from something like hate speech, no manager deserves to be charged for anything they say in the game.
