I would have left halfway through. It's what I did once - never mind that I'd already paid to watch it, I would have paid yet more to see the back of that excruciating experience!

I'm struggling to think of any. Good films in absolute abundance though, that one, John Q, Inside Man, Malcolm X, Siege, Manchurian Candidate, Training Day, difficult to choose from!

Jersey Boys, the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. I grew up listening to their music (As a matter of fact, one of my favorite songs since I was a kid was "Oh What A Night (December '63)!"), so I was singing along to it, and it was interesting to learn the stories behind the songs. If I was able to take my parents to see the play, I would have been singing along and dancing in my seat!

White house down, better than I expected. 8/10

"Inside Man" by Denzel Washington. I guess everyone who watched it had a smile on his face after the movie because it was funny and smart.

Unbroken, Olympic athlete in WW2,grim and powerful tale. 7.5

American Sniper - way better than I expected. Incredible man, played well by Bradley Cooper. Solid 8/10 for me.

The imitation game 8/10....staring benny cucumberbitch about alan turing inventing Colossas, that big ass computer to break the german code of wwII,,,,sad end.

'Love' - a short (70-odd mins) Sci Fi film on iplayer. Artsy but good.

The Grand Budapest Hotel - cool movie, quirky and quite well shot..... but I must admit at times I was wondering what was going on.

Locke starring Tom Hardy. 

 

It was okay but the lack of any sort of resolution, for me, spoiled the film. 

 

Everything goes sh*t, concrete is constant metaphor and.... then it ends.
