Liverpool

On the 15th October, that fine upstanding taxpayer owned institution that is Royal Bank of Scotland will have the option to put Liverpool into administration.

That is when RBS's Toxic Loan Division will have the right to call in the £230m owed to it, unless those pillars of football society, Gillett and Hicks manage to re-finance/extend the loan or do a deal with RBS

Other clubs, when put into administration are automatically deducted nine points, but that couldn't happen to the best club and fans in the world could it?

So RBS are looking at the option to put the parent company of LFC - Kop Holdings into administration in an attempt to avoid the nine point deduction - surprisingly the FA rules regarding the deduction seem unclear if intermediate companies are put into receivership

I reckon watching Liverpool in the next three weeks could be quite entertaining and I'm not talking about their football

I seem to remember another club trying the "parent company" thing to get out of it (might have been Southampton) but still got hit with a points deduction so the FA have set a precedent and would really have to hit the dippers too. Shame that.

I really hope Liverpool don't go into administration it's bad enough having to listen to whinging scousers going on about the whys and why nots of their lost greatest every time a football program comes on TV/radio without more ammunition

Ah yes, but they didn't have Stevie G's legal team ;)

Dunno I would love it ................you could always ask them to sell there history to see how much it is worth in the real world .

I love that idea, I can just imagine it on ebay; "liverpools rich history for sale, there's nothing that you can actually put your hands on but loads to gloat about to the likes of Blackpool and Wolves who also won something in the past."

It could be right next to the advert for; "a little piece of god....... you can't quite put your hands on it but....."

Stevie G might talk to the FA the way he talks to the refs and get them away with it!

No what he will do is walk into an RBS establishment, trip over the carpet, do a starfish impression and sue them for the balance owed by LFC to clear the debt. All of which will be caught on CCTV as well to strengthen the case.

Fantastic news. Pretty soon scousers can tell us great stories about their history of administration.

They can claim we bought success, however they werent even able to purchase mediocrity.

Agent Hodgson needs to slow down with his work. If he buries them any further in the table he is gonna be outed as a mole.

At this rate, they are going to sack him and replace him with O'Neill before xmas. Christ, this place would go bananas.

Lets hope theyre a little tougher on him than the jokers who were supposed to be prosecuting at Liverpool Crown Court

Another bright note: the last time the scousers started the season as well as this 1953-54, they were relegated

It has been announced that Liverpool FC have been refused permission to build a new stadium on Stanley Park.

The council said a fun fair once a year is okay, but a circus every two weeks is taking the piss!

last night i paid a visit to my local brothel and i said to the madam,

'im feeling a bit kinky how much for total humiliation?'

the madam replies,

'that'd be £37.50'

so i said ' okay and what do i get for that'

she replies' this seasons Lfc shirt!'

After the defeat by Blackpool, Hodgson was seen driving down the M6 at 120 mph, on a mobile phone and not wearing his seat belt.

He'd do anything for 3 points.
