Ben Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Went for Drogs, along with a super goal had the energy back in his game. But to be honest everyone played well. Cech positioning was superb, whenever they put us under pressure he was there.
RegRabid Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Hard to pick...thought Drogba and Anelka shone tonight, but stubbornly, going for Ramires...think he deserves it after some of the stick he has taken.
goose Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 good all round display and no one stood out. I picked Cech
Kalou Time Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Drogba for me, was all over the pitch always wanted the ball. Great goal too
mad_mac Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Cech for me, very close to Drogba and Ramires. But Cech looked comanding again, even in the save he made on their offside attempt. He also made a fantastic save to keep it at 1-0, which I believe kept us in this game and stopped the heads from dropping.
dkw Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Gone for Ramires as I thought he was outstanding in the 2nd half and had solid 1st. But that really was a difficult choice to make, could have been any 1 of Ramires, Essien, Mikel.
Chippy Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Really tough to pick a MOM tonight, Anelka, Drogba, Essien, Ramires and Mikel all played well, nobody looked less than very good, great to see the difference when a bit of confidence does for this team. Drogbas Goal was superb and his all round performance was as near to seeing the Drogba we had a few months back to we could have hoped for and for that I have to give him my vote, Great to see him and Nic playing so well at the same time.
charierre Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Ramires , he's starting to settle into the side now, give him another 12 mths and he will be a candidate for first name on the teamsheet. Well played Petr too without his save in the first half the result might have been so different if they had got back into the match at that point.
PloKoon13 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Great performance, exactly what we needed. I voted for Drogba, it was great to see him with his old physical presence, his old swagger, not to mention his goal.
barak81 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Went for chec, flawless performance and a world class save (that no where near is bering made enough of) to keep us ahead at a cruciale point in hte game
Zeros Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Drogba, Drogba has improved a lot is physically form and start the scoring, winning character.
Scooby Blue Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 (edited) Tough one tonight. I think down to the goal alone I'm going to give it to Drogba, he looked like his old self tonight, his workrate was top notch also. Special mentions have to go to Cech and Ramires as well. Edited January 24, 2011 by Scooby Blue
clubhappy Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Cech , Anelka , cant fault Drogba though , tough to pick one.
Ballack & Blu Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Anelka for me,knew he'd score against them, unplayable,so sublimely skillful at holding ,and shielding the ball, can and always jinks inside off both feet, just love watching the guy,he will always be as good as henry was ,but not as prolific,Drogba and Terry looked good and cech super..
General Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Had to be Drogba for the goal.....a touch of class like his self of seasons gone turned the game around when chels were under the cosh . Anelka Cech Essien Ramires Mikel Malouda JT all a close 2nd
The Moos Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 A few really good performances. Ramires really deserves some credit. However, I will vote for Cech. Bolton created a few really good chances but Cech saved us. If he hadn't I think the score would have been very different.
Bovis Messroom Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Tough one as you could make a case for four or five of the team. Gone for Drogs. Great goal to send us on our way, led the line very well on top of his usual chasing back and defensive work. Onwards and upwards.
aliboy66 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Drogba for me good goal, but the team played well today nice one ::clap2::
