And why is that terrible you clown?

Happy with that bar the Dybala suggestion. Obviously my opinion is on hearsay, who knows the truth, but I would be tempted to pass on the same reasons as Man Utd. Interested in players who want to join us for the right reasons - not for a nice pay cheque. Now obviously I don't know him or his intentions - but if there's any of that in him, I'd rather stick with Abraham and Giroud and get someone who is really hungry to be a part of this journey.

Not sure tbh... id take Dybala in a heartbeat. Especially after last nights performance. We need a young hungry striker and i feel Dybala is just that. Lets not forget that before Ronaldo moved to Juve he was their star player and all the big clubs were chasing him.

Ake coming back would be fantastic imo, was one of the few players in our loan system that I was shocked to see go as he always had a big future. Also hearing rumours that we are trying to get Zaha which would be great (but I seriously doubt 80m is worth it...).

Dybala clearly wants to move, and hes at Juve one more season. If we can get a UCL spot this season, I definitely would try signing him too!

Next summers transfer incomings: Zaha, Ake, Dybala, Rugani

How great would that be?

I like Dybala, but the other 3 arent better than our current options imo.

Dybala is toxic and would bring problems to the club, there's a reason his current club have touted him round Europe for the last 12 months, and there's a reason no one wanted him.

You dont think Rugani is better than Zouma/Rudiger/Christensen?

I certainly have him better Zouma and Christensen, and honestly I think he's better than Rudiger as well.

Both Rugani or Romagnoli would be a big upgrade on our current defence.

What makes you think he is toxic? i havent heard anything like that myself.

United wanted him, spurs wanted him. He didnt want to go there.

Considering he is being pushed out of the juve door to some degree, mainly because of his wages. I think he has actually been very professional, certainly more so than a couple of our players in recent times.

Romagnoli i agree would be a great signing, and i was keen on Rugani 12 months ago, mainly because Sarri allegedly wanted him.

He may be better than zouma and Christiansen, but its very debatable. I think we need a top class centre that elevates the team, Rugani is just more of the same in my opinion.

I've read rugani had a very poor last season and has dropped gown the pecking order. He's still pretty young isn't he?

Just turned 25.  I hope we don’t go for him, I also heard he had a very poor season.  Would rather we went all out and got someone world class.  Tough to say who though.  Romagnoli wouldn’t be a bad idea, maybe Koulibaly but Aurelio is a nightmare.  Someone said Tah, I actually like him as well.  A couple Germans at the back, partner him with Rüdiger.

I dont think he has even made it up the pecking order at Juventus, admittedly they have some fantastic centre backs. He is still fairly young for a centre back though, but i dont think he has had a good season since he was at empoli 4/5 seasons ago.

Fair enough, didnt quite watch much of Rugani last season but up until then I think he was being touted as Juventus' next big thing as a CB.

I think both Romagnoli and Rugani are of similar age, but Romagnoli definitely plays more games and I think hes even captain of AC atm, so not sure what the chances of getting him are. I think we were linked at one point, but not sure what happened.

I think he counts as a world class CB and will definitely try pushing for him. Romagnoli-Rudiger with Christensen 3rd choice and Tomori 4th. Can sell Zouma.

Depending on how Luka Jovic does at Madrid, perhaps we could look to bring him in next season. I know it's early days but I can see Zidane sticking with Benzema as his No.1 striker and I can't see Jovic being happy about that.

I know he's a pain but Icardi would also suit our play style to a tee, but if he's going to carry on with how he is then we should steer clear.

Dybala, nah, not a fan as he doesn't get enough goals.

Dybala is nearly 1 in 2 at juve.

Disappointing 10 goals last season, but 26 the season before, 19, and 23 before that.

Id take those numbers coupled with his ability to make chances for players around him.

£65m for him is an absolute steal, and he has star quality that the club really needs now hazards gone.

I think he will end up having a good season, and be off the market though unfortunately.

It's an okay record, but it in all honesty, I would prefer us to stay away from players who haven't done much outside of Italy, they just don't seem to adapt to English football quickly or at all in some cases.

I dont think its the adaptation thats the problem. We have just bought some really average players from Italy recently.

He's got decent strike rate in europe aswell.

Salah hadnt really done much outside italy, he flopped massively in england 1st time around aswell.

I just think we need to bring in pedrigree, and dybala is probably the only forward available for a reasonable price, at a good age, that has real quality.

It would be a gamble if we could get him, but i think it would be less pf a gamble than any other option available to us.

Who would bring in as a safer bet?

Depay seems ready for a return to England, I'd happily have him leading our line.  Could be our own version of what Liverpool have gotten with Salah - struggled first time around in England, goes to another league abroad, does well, and comes back ready to go.  I don't think he would do quite as well as Salah has, and they don't play the same position, but I think the premise of the idea and the situation could be of the same mold.

I like depay, i liked him at psv. Not sure if he's a safer bet than dybala, especially through the middle, but i agree he would be coming back here with somethimg to prove. Physically he is a beast now, he still has great pace and touch. I certainly wouldnt be against it if he has a good season again.

I think he has grown up now too, if I remember correctly he was fairly immature back when he played at Man United.  And frankly, that was just a horrible time to be there, under van Gaal.  He's definitely itching to go to a bigger club and is still at a good age - 25.  Agreed that physically he is a monster, and he also brings a bit of that "bad boy" attitude that I think we've been missing, somebody with a little bit of "f**k you" in them.  We've lost a lot of our personalities over the past few years - Costa and Luiz specifically.

Edit: here's an article from Bleacher Report where it's plainly obvious that he wants to move to a bigger club

Wouldn’t touch him personally; he isn’t a 9, he is a Griezmann type player that excels shadowing a frontman- a second striker. Unless you are going to stick a marauding fullback behind him, one side will be lopsided.

There is also the issue of the ridiculous Image rights; think his agent was requesting something like £23m, add on wages of £15m+ gross and it’s too risky considering we don’t use second strikers.

Someone mentioned Jovic and I reckon he will be on the market come summer- see Mariano & Morata before him. Madrid will be after the flavour of the month come summer, and I don’t see him making much impact as a backup to Benzema. He is only 22 and will have a lot to prove when he is shafted off.

I would love Jovic, but i guess we will have to wait and see on him. Mariano and Morata were cheaper buys for Madrid with the buy back clauses, Benzema is older now aswell, so I think they might want to give Jovic a run at some point.
