They'll have to draw his number on the back of his shirt with permanent marker.

No they won't, he can stand in the queue in the shop with the rest of us.

Juan Cuadrado in the frame according to this random piece...

CHELSEA are set to hijack Manchester United's move for Fiorentina star Juan Cuadrado as the Serie A side look to sign Blues outcast Marko Marin.... Cuadrado is equally adept in defence or in attack, and the Portuguese boss feels his versatility would be greatly useful as he prepares for the upcoming season. Chelsea's interest has apparently been sparked by Fiorentina's attempts to land Marko Marin, who signed for the Blues in 2012 from Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen.

God no...

Overrated as hell.

Good, thats another down

Just two more to go before we can buy someone.

Thats not exactly true though, is it? We can buy as many as we like, we just cant register them in the Prem squad, unless I`m reading it wrong. being over the quota doesnt actually stop us buying anyone, it just means we would have players not in the match playing squads.

Yeah obviously that's the case but realistically we are hugely unlikely to adopt that approach. Alarmingly I think our squad is our squad and that we ain't buying anyone else

Twitter linking us with Benatia at Roma. Don't know anything about him but I don't think we need another CB.

just picked up a copy of the evening standard and theres the best part of a full page saying the same thing

After watching the last couple of pre-season games that zouma was involved in, i think an extra CB is a good idea, although it shouldn't come at the cost of what we really need, A STRIKER!

liverfool being strongly linked with Falcao, how and why, we should be at the forefront, not those bindipping c**ts..

No point in spending £30M+ to have him sit on the bench/rotate with our other £32M striker/have to change our formation to accomodate him. Quality finisher but not right for us.

FWIW I doubt he'll be signing for Liverpool either. He's had his eye on a Real Madrid move ever since he announced he was leaving Atletico.

Let them spend circa 40 million on a guy who is nearly 29, with a glass knee. See how they like paying him 250k per week when he's 4 years down the line at 33 years old with his best years behind him

Avoid

Remy had 14 goals in 26 appearances last year.

Looks like goal.com is saying cech is for sale for 10 million. Seems awfully low for one of the best keepers in the world who's only 32.

yes, but teams know we have to sell one of them

‘Chelsea To Pursue Roma Striker Destro’

Chelsea are reportedly ready to pursue Roma striker Mattia Destro before the end of the summer transfer window.
According to Il Messaggero, Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini, who recently made a trip to England to hold a meeting with Manchester United regarding a possible Mehdi Benatia transfer, also met with Chelsea to speak about a potential swap deal involving Destro and struggling Blues striker Fernando Torres.
Mattia Destro scored 13 goals and provided two assists in his 20 Serie A appearances for Roma last term, while Torres scored five goals and provided five assists in his 30 Premier League appearances for Chelsea during the 2013-14 campaign.
