Marin is rumoured to Besiktas, WBA is one of the teams Moses has been linked to. Not Chelsea-quality.

Chalobah didnt have the greatest of loan spells last season. He was fantastic at Watford the season before. I agree with Jose, he should go out on loan again.

He had some sort of heart defect when he signed for Marseille. It's probably that again, or could be something else.

Bit surprised by Christensen, especially because of his general lack of involvement in pre-season so far. 

 

Ake has surprised me in pre-season, looks like he is developing into a decent player and I wouldn't say no to him being our back up left back although were Luis to be injured or suspended I suspect Dave would still get the nod to play there. 

 

If Chalobah can secure a Premier League loan then I think that would be really good for him, same goes for Bamford who I think has what it takes to develop into a player good enough to be involved in our first team within a year or two.

Probably his teeth aren't sharp enough? To pass the pool's medical.

Pretty sure Remy has had a long term heart condition, remember us being linked with him in the past and there was news of it. He's had problems with medicals but other clubs have taken a gamble on him and he seems fine.

Even with his condition, Remy might be worth a punt at £8M as striker cover; Ba previously failed a medical, we still signed him and........oh wait a minute....

Was gonna bring up ba. I think it would be worth a punt, there is some speculation that the move broke down because refused to move.

Well Liverpool is not in a best position with strikers. Remy was a good 'find' and they still discarded him for some reason. I bet they want to bring in a big name striker.

Marco Reus contract negotiations stall, unless he signs a new one, then a release clause of £27mil-£28mil will be activated next summer. It would be stupid not to go for him if that happens.

Courtois not given a squad number.

Interesting as everyone else without a number has been transfer listed.

When he reports for training he'll probably pick the number he wants to wear. 

 

I really think far too much is read into these sorts of things.

That's because Lukaku is leaving, Romeu and Ake are most likely going out on loan. 

 

Mourinho confirmed that Ake was staying with the first team this season, obviously still a question mark over Romeu and there's 150 pages debating about Lukaku but at this moment in time I think he'll still be here next season. 

 

My main point being with Courtois is that he never has had a squad number because he's been out on loan.

 

Assuming he is staying which Mourinho said he was then you would imagine that one of the things that needs to be sorted once he returns to the club proper is ask him which squad number he would like to wear... It's a small detail and it's not something the club are going to bend over backwards to sort out whilst the lad is still on holiday.

Yeah sorry I forgot Ake and Christensen were joining our first team squad, but I'm still convinced Lukaku is off. Romeu is definitely going to struggle for a first team place, vying with Ramires, Matic, Fabregas etc.

 

The Courtois saga will go on until the day the season starts at this rate! They'll have to draw his number on the back of his shirt with permanent marker.
