November 7, 201411 yr http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/532769/Gerard-Pique-to-REJECT-Man-Utd-and-seal-Chelsea-move-in-January Thanks god! I hope it's true..
November 7, 201411 yr Berahino has just said his aim is playing Champions League football and West Brom won't offer that, basically confirming he'll leave sometime in the near future (which was probably anyway). I reckon it'll be Arsenal or Liverpool.
November 7, 201411 yr Thanks god! I hope it's true.. Why? I don't think we need to sign another CB. Zouma can replace Terry and we still have Ivanovic if necessary.
November 7, 201411 yr Why? I don't think we need to sign another CB. Zouma can replace Terry and we still have Ivanovic if necessary. Ou my god, I've read it wrong, I thought it said "Gerard Pique to REJECT Man United and Chelsea". Of course I don't want him, it was my bad.
November 9, 201411 yr @BundesligaSpot: Daily Mirror: Marco Reus has refused a large offer from Manchester City as he wants to stay in Germany. #BVB #MCFC #FCBayern
November 9, 201411 yr @BundesligaSpot: Daily Mirror: Marco Reus has refused a large offer from Manchester City as he wants to stay in Germany. #BVB #MCFC #FCBayern Another player who will be leaving Dortmund to join their rivals. No loyalty in that league what so ever.
November 9, 201411 yr I've read that Chelsea are plotting 15m on Seydou Doumbia and ready to offer him a contract in 2015.
November 10, 201411 yr Ivory Coast powerhouse. He'd be a decent squad striker. Also Schurrle is said to be Reus' replacement which makes sense but it means we would be looking at someone else.
November 11, 201411 yr We have to be in for Reus surely? & Doumbia? He looks quality and when Drogba's contract expires/Retires he would be a good option.
November 11, 201411 yr Hopefully Reus joins the club... @BundesligaSpot: Rummenigge: "Gotze had an incredible offer from Man City, while Real Madrid desperately wanted Lewandowski." #FCBayern Edited November 11, 201411 yr by BavarianAfrican12
November 11, 201411 yr Hopefully Reus joins the club... How does it feel like going into a season knowing you're gonna win the league?
November 11, 201411 yr How does it feel like going into a season knowing you're gonna win the league? To be honest very rewarding, some of you may not have followed the BuLi for long but Bayern usually don't have such a easy time. In the times before the treble it was a struggle and a couple BuLi teams still give us a hard time like Leverkusen, BvB, BMG, and Wolfsburg.
November 11, 201411 yr Bayern are runing German Football. In the same way Rangers and Celtic ruined Scottish football...at least there was two of them though. It's sheer coward tactics stealing all the best players from your closest rival. Where is the challenge? Where is the fun knowing you have all but won the title before a ball is kicked? I know as a Rangers man these past 3 years have been hellish because there is no challenge and I know plenty Celtic fans who are the same. They are entitled to do what they are doing but it leaves a bad taste.

They are entitled to do what they are doing but it leaves a bad taste. But is that not the nature of the club game and esp the players (most esp in past 30-40 yrs)...they will always go where they think they will win trophies and to the teams who pay the biggest wages... Pool in 70's/80's...Utd in 90's....then ourselves in early 2000's (sorta broke the mould with foreign greats) and lately City (as you say the big 2 in Scotland done the same with local talent)... Bayern I think are doing just what was done in England those years (I don't think its right amassing all the talent but..) . Players...they can end their careers saying I won this, that....records don't show that they had all the countrys top talent playing with them.............. How can you stop this when basically all top teams now take their pick from all the world talent.....see Real/Barca
November 11, 201411 yr Difference in all of the above is in the leagues you mention there are at least 2 or more teams who will fight for the title. In Germany there is only Bayern now since they have bought all the good players from their only real competition. It just takes all enjoyment out of it for me as a spectator...god knows what the actual fans of German football think of it.
November 11, 201411 yr Well to be fair, If the players have no ambition to want to compete in a league that is much more competitive, then that's their choice. I don't agree with it and, if i was a player, i would want to become the best by competing against the best, in a league that is competitive.

I don't agree with it and, if i was a player, i would want to become the best by competing against the best, in a league that is competitive. Beeing favourites for CL has alot of pull these days. It would be intressting to see what happend with a couple of early exits (Quarter finals, Semi finals) for Bayern, something I would believe would be looked upon as a failure, even though they win the german cup+league.
November 11, 201411 yr Do not personally think there is anything wrong in what bayern are doing, they want good players. More so I think or is an issue for the players that join them from. Dortmund or their other rivals. Could go prove yourself in a better league like last liga or our premiership but no take the safe option in going to bayern. They lack ambition.
November 11, 201411 yr The same players you guys say lack ambition are champions in both club and country. They don't need to prove to anyone how good they are cause they probably already know it. Also Bayern don't just beat BuLi clubs but they have taken the best in the EPL to the cleaners(except Chelsea ofcourse ;) ) Edit: It's funny though that some players who stay at their boyhood clubs or just don't make moves to bigger clubs can also be criticized for not being ambitious enough while players who join arguable Europe's biggest club are criticized because they don't have enough ambition? Maybe it's just me but that makes no sense to me... Edited November 11, 201411 yr by BavarianAfrican12
November 11, 201411 yr There doesn't seem to be much loyalty in Bundesliga. Dortmund players can't complain about not getting CL football, as they've always had that in previous years, so all it can be is money. I don't understand why players like Lewandowski and Goetze would leave to go to bayern when dortmund were in a great position a couple of seasons ago.
November 11, 201411 yr Quite a few places linking us to Reus now, saying he is a 'priority signing'...I hope he is because if everyone stays fit we have an almost perfect team and other than JT and Ivan we have a team for a good few years.
November 11, 201411 yr probably best to take all these "rumours" with a large pinch of salt tbh. Until january, we have no idea what is happening and it's always slow news day around this time of year. If reus is as good as people say, then he would be a fantastic signing.
November 11, 201411 yr Marco Reus in January would be a big deal, and would practically seal the title.
November 12, 201411 yr Marco Reus in January would be a big deal, and would practically seal the title. Not sure about that, unless we are faced with an injury crisis or sudden lose of forms to multiple players, last thing we need is to integrate a big name signing into the starting 11. Come July, it could be a different story.
