Surely this can't be true, Piazon is way too good for Vitesse, I was hoping he'd end up in the prem this season like he said he wanted to.

No, he isn't.

You're making out that Vitesse are awful, they finished 4th in the Eredivisie last season and will be in the Europa League this season.....

Piazon hasn't played week in week out for a 1st team yet, there's no way he could just walk into a premier league team at the moment.

Personally think it would be a very good loan for him.

so now, apparently, i have also said bale has a low scoring record.

why do you keep putting words in my mouth? cant you argue the points ive actually made instead of making sht up?

Are you high? I never implied such a thing.

And in case you missed it, the 2 paragraphs before the one you are wrongly interpreting was me doing just you are asking.

Do you not think that going from Malaga to Vitesse is a bit of a step down?  Also, while he's not good enough for most PL teams right now I wouldn't say he wasn't good enough for a team like Crystal Palace or Hull. Whenever I've seen him play for us he's never looked massively out of place, especially that game against Villa when he was superb.

Liverpool bid £21 million for Atletico Madrids Costa.

Seen him a few times and tbh he doesn't strike me as a striker worth that sort of cash.

Yes I am high and I tire of this discussion which has nothing to do with 'Random rumours'

Of course Vitesse are not as good as Malaga, but he was not a starter at Malaga. He barely played.

With Vitesse he would probably be starting week in week out, which is exactly what he needs. Plus, unlike Hull/Crystal Palace he would be getting Europa League games.

And yes he was good against Villa but to put it in to context, we won that match 8-0.

I'm not saying he's not good, because he clearly is. I just don't think he's as far along as you do. Either way, he's got a bright future ahead.

I understand your point of getting European football, but I still think he would benefit even more so playing for a Premier League team. I also do think he's more far along than most people think he is and if he does go to Vitesse I think he'll prove that he was ready for the next step but yes, we can all agree he has got a bright future.

Apt replacement for Suarez. The only player in the world that might be just as much of a d*ck.

I think you are over rating him my friend. I think he has a long way to go yet. In my honest opinion i dont think he will ever be good enough to start for us. I would think we will sell him in a season or two. Right now i think the dutch league would be good for him.

He played something like 12/13 games and looked pretty impressive for them regardless of him only starting 5 of those games.

With Malaga having pretty much no players left you would think it would be in the best interest of both parties to have him stay there for another season.

As for Vitesse, they still have to qualify and if their recent match against that random Romanian team is anything to go by they will have a very hard time doing just that. Even if they do qualify, is 4, maybe 5 if they are lucky, EL games really worth it rather than playing regular games in a top league like La Liga or EPL? It hasn't seem to affect any of our recent loaned players.

But he wouldnt start every game in the EPL.

He doesn't need to, regular games don't mean starting XI week in week out. Lukaku is an example of this.

Not that I agree anyway, there are a few teams in the EPL and like half of them in La Liga he would start for.

One game every season is also regularity, but I don't suppose that's what you mean :-)

Playing often, preferably as a starter, is something Vitesse can provide. The Dutch league is not the best in the world, but with his quality he can learn to raise his level. He's only, what 19, 20? Let him make mistakes without being slaughtered for them. In that vain I'm curious how Josh will do in Spain. Somehow I feel they are less forgiving in the Spanish league.

People are saying that he Dutch league is week but plenty of players are bought from there and do well in other leagues. As Val said he can go there and learn from mistakes, probably wouldnt get dropped over them. The only teams that maybe might take him are the ones that have just come up and they cant afford to keep playing players that make mistakes.

Fair enough about the age, most players his age tend to do well in the dutch league anyway but I think considering how much we spent on him and how he's already put in good performances in a top league like La Liga we should perhaps we pushing him a bit more than others because we clearly rated him quite highly. I don't think another season at a depleted Malaga team would have done any harm whatsoever.

Never said he was good enough for us or ever will be but that wasn't what i was disagreeing with you for.He is still a very talented player and would get into many Prem starting elevens in my opinion. Piazon would get into Newcastle,Southampton,Aston Villa starting eleven plus many more.Liverpool are interested in him aswell.
