I used to wear an Eddie McCreadie's blue and white army silk scarf round the wrist happy days. They didn't look quite right if you wore them as a normal scarf if memory serves.

Followed this on Ebay was going to bid but to expensive just to reclaim a bit of my youth. Sold for £26.00.

Boyne: Looks like our first manager is wearing a Scotland jersey in the photo above.

Thanks, Erskblue. Well spotted. I've looked at his playing record and he played 16 times (scoring 3 goals) between 1898 and 1905)

Boyne: It certainly wasn't a Rangers jersey as they don't have a thistle as part of their club crest.

Nor do Chelsea ( obviosly ) so it had to be a Scotland one.

Yep because if a wall falls down, it is obviously something that Chelsea fans did to it isn't it.  Not that it was a sh*t ground that was falling apart, oh no, of course not.  We maliciously leant on the wall in a threatening manner, intent to cause trouble.

Have had a look at the Scotland shirts between 1898 and 1905 when Robertson played for the national team and the only one that had a thistle was on one which used for a game against Ireland in 1899. The rest of the time the shirts had the Lion Rampant.

I've still got about half a dozen of them in really good nick, and at that sort of price I'm gonna have to think about selling them.

Boyne:Cheers for that information on our first manager.

You're welcome, Erskblue. It's great to find out information about our former players and managers. Found this Rangers website with info about Robertson.

Anyone remember this programme & episode?

This original London Weekend Television publicity photograph shows MICHAEL CRAIG in 1972. He is pictured filming on location at Chelsea Football Club. This is for an episode of the LWT horror series 'The Frighteners' in an episode called 'Firing Squad', in which Michael Craig stars as Barcroft. This is described in the caption from London Weekend Television on the rear of the photograph.

Mine were featured in the Got Not Got Chelsea book after the chap who writes them asked if any of us on here had interesting Chelsea memorabilia. Got a free copy of the book as well, fame at last.

Nice one MKBlue some of my stuff is in that book as well although I had to buy my copy ha ha...I do get a mention in the first few pages and also in the back which I must admit I didn't expect,I was just happy to dig out the old stuff, take a trip down memory lane and send the author a few pics to help him out.
