February 7, 201610 yr Who is it to the left of Bonetti as you look at the picture? Bobby Tambling was a good looking lad wasn't he? And I love how it looks like they've just stood together for a moment while the photo is taken, they look as though half of them are out of breath or have just sat down! And I love how it looks like they've just stood together for a moment while the photo is taken, they look as though half of them are out of breath or have just sat down! It's Allan Young. Looked up his time at Chelsea and only played 26 games before moving to Torquay. It is a great photo. Bobby and Venables look like they are sharing a joke. Should have posted this with the picture: 1965-66. John Hollins, Allan Young, Peter Bonetti, Marvin Hinton, Ron Harris, Eddie McCreadie, Barry Bridges, George Graham, Peter Osgood, Terry Venables and Bobby Tambling.

February 11, 201610 yr My first solo game at the bridge, thought we were going up but Leicester ruined it
February 12, 201610 yr Yup Clive was my first boy hood hero I was at that game, shows how old i am. We needed the spammers to do a job at Sunderland after they had won the fa cup if i remember and lost 2-0. Correct me if i am wrong. Remember the following season when West Spam came down and were all over the shed. Lost 1-0 graham wilkins og i think. Then the team went down hill for a while. And just think about how people are moaning about this season. If i could have the last 12 years with terracing it would have been eutopia.
February 12, 201610 yr So many spoilt so called fans these days. One indifferent season and its the end of the world. Some of the threads and contributors on here lately are an embarrasment.Football has its up and downs and our club has had its fair share of success, lets try to remember that.
February 12, 201610 yr Watford away, can't remember the year but me and my mate couldn't get in, lied at the ticket office about our surname and got given someone else's tickets, flasher scored twice in a 3-2 win...brilliant day out. Same season as the Oldham game I think.

February 12, 201610 yr They obviously weren't one of the 6000 watching us draw with Orient or getting done 4-1 at home by Rotherham. I go occasionally now, truly love the place but it's weird seeing all the half and half scarves and tourists taking selfies? As for this season, seen it all before
February 13, 201610 yr Watford away, can't remember the year but me and my mate couldn't get in, lied at the ticket office about our surname and got given someone else's tickets, flasher scored twice in a 3-2 win...brilliant day out. Same season as the Oldham game I think. If I remember rightly we won 3-2 two years in a row at Watford. The first year we all got off at Watford High Street station and everyone hadn't bought tickets and said they had come from places like Bushey and Carpenders Park. Well the old bill knew this was was total bollocks and started nicking loads of people for fare evasion. So me and my mates had a quick pow wow and agreed on saying we got on at Wembley Central. Never paid the full fare if I could help it when I was young and only paid begrudgingly if it wasn't possible to bunk the fare. And I can remember we got charged 75p child's fare great days.
