Nice to see a former manager being invited to SB, I guess. They’ve been friends for years. Bobby sat there even if Abramovich was away.

Had great days out at Bramall Lane and Hillsborough. Both two proper old school grounds with decent away ends, (you never felt like you were about to be ambushed and get your head panned in, unlike a lot of other big towns) , and furthermore proper fish and chips away from the ground. My first long distance away was at Wednesday Sept 82- we lost 3-2- National Express Coach up there, and bunked the special back, hiding in the karzi when the ticket collector did his round ( along with about half a dozen other blokes all crammed in !) That day we probably took about 3,000, and I was struck my how many Northern Chelsea were amongst us. Edited January 23, 20197 yr by Ewell CFC

I remember it because it was my parents's silver weeding anniversary, and my mum was a bit put out that I was late for their party! I remember the Leppings Lane end being very full. Must have been in the pen where it all went so wrong seven years later.
