It is very possible. I'm an old f**k now at 55.

Used to go to "The Beckenham" and "La Trecs" (excuse the spelling) in the early 80's, Champagne bar in the nineties. Also Dr Crippens in Bromley South early 80's and there were a few bars Bromley North (not far from Allders),

Also used to sometimes venture out to Croydon and Purley

Ha ha! 49 myself, Three tons, The Beckenham, The George.  anywhere that would sell to under age people!!   did you go to the club when it was tights!!

I know we laugh about their away support years ago but the proof is in the pudding in that photo.  Is that Steve Wicks playing for them?

Yeah I went to tights, can't remember whether it was called la trecs or tights first. Small world.

Think it's Tony Currie. Yes Rangers support was truly laughable back in the day Orient used to bring more.

Tony Currie was a good midfielder at his peak.

Remember him playing for England at Hampden back in 1978.

Boy this brings back memories of too much "Red Barrel" consumption back in the day.

Tommy Doc, Eddie Mc Creadie, Terry Venables swigging, Ronnie Harris, John Hollins, Ossie, and I think Ken Shellito

That could (without using the Jamie Redknapp use of the word ) literally anyone Erksblue

Apart from a team whose home strip would be stripes. Say Southampton or Notts Country!

Wasn't sure if I had asked a daft question. To be fair it has been known...

I think that's Bert Murray in the suit, Bobby Tambling behind, Alan Harris squatting down and dear old Harry Medhurst  dishing out the beer.

Good point about Southampton or Notts County.

The fight like your fans pic reminds when they used to do the face in the crowd in the programme. I used to look every week to see if I was in the crowd alas I never was.

I remember the face in the crowd section in the programme. Used to look out for it as well. Reminds me of a few years back when I was heading to my seat in the MHU and those who sit around me were congratulating me. I didn't know what they were talking about until it was pointed out to me that my seat number had been chosen in a raffle and I had won a £50 voucher to spend in the club shop.
