Any game recommendation?

I know It's been out for about a year already, but I downloaded 80 Days for my phone for a train trip over the weekend and I must say I was quite impressed. Very entertaining and a fitting game to play while traveling.

I don't think it will be different enough from Advanced Warfare, which I started playing again recently.

I long for a Modern Warfare or World War 2 COD again...

The Walking Dead Season 2 is on the ps plus store for free at the moment, well worth playing through especially if you've played the first season.

It's pretty awful. Guess you have to be a fan of the series to be into it.

Seems like an interesting game, I might try it out when I'm on the ferry to Hokkaido.

Good game, isn't it? I've never really been much of a zombie games fan, but it's one of the best story-driven zombie games I've played so far.

I'm not going back to COD until they go back to WW2. If I wanted to play that futuristic bollocks I'd get halo.

Downloaded BF: Hardline from EA Access and it's not great. Can see why DICE have abandoned it and continued to add content to BF4 instead.

Haven't bothered to download Hardline. I should probably try it but I've heard B4 is better and yeah, they've just created that cool new map.

Not at all. I've never watched the TV programme, but enjoyed the games a lot. From what I hear, it's basically nothing like the TV programme.

I've downloaded Walking Dead but not played it. Looking forward to it.

I'm stuck on mission 29 on MGSV. What an absolutely bugger of a mission.

If you do, I'll just say that it seems to have plenty of replay value. So even if you happened to successfully circumnavigate the globe on your first game, you probably won't be even close to seeing everything that the game has to offer in terms of possible stories. When I first made a successful trip around the world, I think I visited under a quarter of the destinations in the game. There's so many possible routes and as it's only loosely based on the Jules Verne novel Around the World in 80 Days, the best (or the most fun) way to beat the game might not be to travel the same route that they take in the original story. Especially as it takes place in a "steam punk" world, so the modes of transportation are quite a bit more varied than in Jules Verne's novel. There are some very interesting and quite surprising "detours" to be taken, if you can find them and there are some interesting storylines that might or might not happen to you during any given trip.

I got a lend of Shadow of Mordor from a mate at work

WIll boot it up tomorrow probably, good game?

Playing that currently. It's received excellent reviews - I'd say it's solid. The combat and general gameplay are good though the map is distinctly average.

Mordor got too repetitive for me. I played about 5 hours on it, but it just seems to be mostly doing the same things over and over again.

Great, just what we needed. Another video game movie... *sigh*

I don't know, I've been waiting for somebody to adapt Attack Of The Mutant Camels for decades.

The only movie based on a video game I've seen is Far Cry, which was dreadful.

The Witcher should be better as I imagine it'll be based on the books, which are supposedly excellent.

The Doom movie is probably one of the worst things ever committed to film.

I got half was through a Tomb Raider movie and gave.

Don't think I've ever seen more than a glimpse of any of the Resident Evil films but from what I've read they've gone way off script now and have no link to the games other than by name at this point.

There's an Assassin's Creed movie coming out next and Michael Fassbender is staring in it so that one might break the trend, who knows?

Maybe, sounds like it'll have a budget if Fassbender is in it so it might be alright. If the Witcher follows the books and is produced well then it should be fine; can't say I have much interest in it though.

Isn't there a world of warcraft film soon. Sure i saw a poster for it

Yeah Duncan Jones, the guy who directed Moon is doing it.

Not really seen any details about it though, not sure there will be much interest in it.

The Last of us would make a good film....although the zombie genre has been done to death.

Then again it would just be a re hash of the game so pretty pointless as all game to movies turn out to be.
