Why do some stupid supporters, mostly from Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal all supporting Bayern Munich? Even though Chelsea is a english club. Their excuse of supporting Bayern is because Chelsea will earn more "plastic fans". I am tired...

There are three prestigious titles that English teams can win, as far as I'm concerned. The league, the FA Cup and the Champion's League. If we beat Bayern, we take 2 of 3. That alone is reason enough for other teams' supporters to want to see us fail.

I've liked City & Newcastle since I was a kid in the 60's, not sure why.

I too have always liked City and had mates who are City fans. I seem to remember them being described as the Chelsea of the north as, like us, they were perennial underachievers. Ironic then that we are now the 2 richest clubs!

That is so true! I supported Barca when they played ManU twice and Arsenal once, and I supported AC Milan when they played Liverpool, so I guess that is how things go.

Most Arsenal fans I know are supporting us ont he grounds that us winning will screw Tottenham out of a Champions League place.

If supporters of other clubs want Chelsea to win this game, I welcome it. If they don't, I forgive it. Shouldn't really expect anything from supporters of other clubs. As long as we as Chelsea fans are together, nobody else matters.

I think the last time I supported an English team in Europe other than Chelsea was when Norwich played Bayern Munich.

I couldn't care less who wants us to win from other clubs. As long as we support the team and we beat these germans I'm happy :)

I feel the same way. There are the clubs we have competed with, historically, and then the clubs that we havent, like NUFC and MCFC. Maybe in five years I will feel different, but right now, I dont begrudge MCFC their success. I would feel the same way if someone like Everton, Villa, or Sunderland were transformed into title contenders overnight.

I supported Barca against utd both times cause I hate Utd, supported Arsenal vs Barca though.

As for Liverpool: 2005 I supported Milan initially cause I was angry about the ghost goal, but started rooting for Liverpool cause I was a fan of the epic comeback. Was indifferent in 2007 (think leaning slightly to Liverpool) but since then I've realised what a c**tish club it is so I'll root for anyone but them.

I'd probably support Spuds, I like ripping them but have a lot of Spuds friends and have always had a strange affection for the club, though I love laughing at their misfortune more than anything :D
