Not too much to go on there, but I hope it's not true. Decent signing for them (he certainly provides a slightly different option at right back to Luke Young); I'm sure Big Game Bossie is gonna give Eden Hazard nightmares...

Whatever happens, he contributed to the greatest night in our history, and he was immense at the Nou Camp.

I think it's probably linked more closely to the fact that they're the only club willing to offer him whatever wages we paid him.

No hard feelings, wish him all the best (though I hope QPR get relegated and he moves abroad) - wasn't a great player for us but at least he tried, and he redeemed himself with his performance in the final, and especially his performance as a CB against Barca.

Never rated him [too harsh?] and glad we let him go - but his efforts in the semi final & final of the CL 2012 will never be forgotten.

I am surprised by this move...whilst bossy was at times a bit of a liability, given his experience i would have thought a high(ish) ranked European club would have signed him up for free....Wasnt there talk a while back of real madrid signing him on a free?

Talk about from a CL, PL winner to a relegation battler. I'm sure he will be rewarded well financially, and I dont think any of our left winger will lose sleep against him. Like many others, I feel he could have done better.

I agree with Gem...Good luck to him at QPR. I hope he doesnt get stick from us when we meet . His efforts in EC SHOULD be remembered and also ill remember his over the top ,cup hugging behaviour as he was so happy winning it..Thanks Bossie

Yeah, I agree. Bossy was a good servant to Chelsea, and should be treated as such when QPR visit Stamford Bridge.

His best performances for us were in the Champions League Semi-Final and Final - he was fantastic, and think we should remember that when he visits the Bridge.

Admittedly the vast majority of the time he was beyond infuriating...

He might not have been great for us (though he had a great game every now and then), but he didn't complain and did his best, so he deserves our respect.

I re-watched the CL game at Barca today and I have to say Bossy had a good game that night. Also Obi and Raul were both very good.
