Kings of Europe

Just to let you know Sky are broadcasting a programme next Saturday on SS1 at 6.55pm called "Kings of Europe", all about our CL campaign.

The trailer shows clips of interviews with Mikel, Drogba, Lampard and Terry all looking back on what happened.

It promises to be very emotional.

Tell all your friends about it ..

Particularly if they support the Spuds.

Yes! About time. Good on you Sky!

Great shout!

This needs recorded and uploaded online for us all to have.

Seeing as I don't have Sky, I would be very grateful if someone could upload it here!

sh*t I forgot about this. Just turned over now and they're talking about the Barca game.

I still got that shiver down my spine watching Ashley clear it and then the commentators realise Torres is through. Then of course the lines I've heard time and time again since that night. "This could be the most dramatic moment of the season....It's TORRES!!!" Dunno how to write Neville's orgasm so insert here.

Munich next.

No he's right. We are milking it. What is there to say?

We are Champions Of Earope,

We are and always will be the first London club to have won the trophy

We were the first team to win the trophy in its current incarnation at the home ground of the opposition

Didier Drogba did secure his place not only in Chelsea but in footballing history by winning the trophy with his last ever kick of the ball as a Chelsea player.

We were written off at every round, including the group stages

We did come through again and again against seemingly insurmountable odds.

And besides all that, we are are unfortunate that this was only our first Champions League trophy; but for the width of a post against Man U and Claudio Rainieri's brainstorm in Monaco, this could well have been our third. Not to mention the Liverpool ghost goal.

Too damned right we're milking it! And why the hell shouldn't we?

Outstanding post.

This is so frickin' emotional. Doesn't help the first person they speak to is Drogba.

So UEFA wanted players in the full kit and it wasn't JT trying to hog the glory, at least he can laugh at it.

And I STILL get slightly nervous watching the penalties, there is no logic.

EDIT: Poor Pete, when the players were celebrating in the changing room he was having drug tests :laugh2: , he missed the whole thing - he found the funny side though. Brilliant from Pete.

I've got that recorded on my Virgin Box, it'll be getting some more viewage.

great show...brought back all the memories...really hope didier comes back to the bridge for a game so we can all give him our appreciation...

speaking of our win, souness declares it as the sponniest ever...while not disagreeing we had our fair share of luck, he clearly forgets his beloved Liverpool's success in 2005...wish people would stop trying to demean our feat

Amazing.

Loved the bit where Big Pete talks about Schweinsteiger's penalty, saying he lay still on the ground after the ball hit the post, praying it wouldn't rebound off him into the goal, saying it missed his heels by two inches.

Also loved him talking about everything in Munich being blue and that was a good omen.

JT: "If Big Pete's happy I'm happy!".

What an incredible run. It defies belief that we won it. F**k Anton Ferdinand.

Watching it again that result in Barcelona really is one of the greatest in our history when put into context. At the time I was just incredibly happy we had won but now realising we won after losing both our centre backs, down one man, 2 goals down, then a penalty etc. You couldnt make that sh*t up.
