Boo'd again apparently when walking over to applaud the fans, some classless c**ts out there.

Bet they were a very small minority though! Always going to get some brain dead idiots.

yeah, Torres lined up for so-called 'easier' meat against Soiuthampton I reckon...if he scores the last goal in a 4-0 win (that scoreline being a miracle in itself the way we are playing) bet rafa says, he's back, top striker, blah, blah, blah

Miracles do happen!!!  Well, the scoreline, not a torres goal :JC_doubleup:

He certainly got the message about how the fans feel at the Swansea match - there's no need to keep booing him every game, it's classless and makes Chelsea fans look petulant. Not asking for a standing ovation every time he steps onto the pitch, but he's still wearing a Chelsea shirt and recent history has told us that it's not as if anyone at the club is going to think "Oh, I see the fans are displeased, we better get rid of him as soon as possible".

And the fans should cheer him because he did nothing in a game we won? He's lost the support of the fans which usually and hopefully means he doesn't have long here.

Don't agree with booing him like this though but I wouldn't condemn our fans for expressing themselves.

I agree, Torres barely even try's in the pitch and that's why the fans have turned on him. If he tried harder then I don't think he'd be getting boo'd.

Those "classless c**ts" turn up every week, putting time and effort in along the way, making huge sacrifice.

If Torres did the same he wouldn't get booed.

At any other club it would have happened a lot sooner.

By the way, those "classless c**ts" fork out their hard-earned. Torres gets 175k a week.

If he wants to swap places he's welcome to.

Sorry I have absolutely no objection to the booing. There's only so much people can take.

He can make the booing stop but it's up to him.

Is he a man or a mouse?

We shall see.

Indeed.

If true that's really disgusting. No need to humiliate someone like that, he got the message at the game against Swansea. Although Torres transfer to Chelsea has not worked out for him or for us, there is no doubt he has been under enormous pressure the whole time he's been here. The relentless media negativity and focus, combined with his huge transfer fee and poor form has, I believe, conspired against him. I don't think he's a strong character, in the way of a 'typical Chelsea player', and I think of Drogba, Terry, Lampard, when I use that phrase. Mentally and outwardly strong, by all accounts he's a very introverted character. I think people would regret booing him if he were to do something silly like Gary Speed did. Sometimes people under a lot of pressure do very silly things.

Also Demba Ba did not score today and did not have many chances so maybe it's time the team focused on actually creating for any strikers we have now or in the future. I think Torres has to leave for this issue to be recognised. It so easy to blame him when some focus needs to go on the chances the others are supposed to be creating!

Falcao is going nowhere lol

Making huge sacrifice?

Do they sell their kidneys? Do they put their daughters on the game?

They choose to spend their spare cash going to the match.  That is their right.  Don't call that a "huge sacrifice"

Could be worse Moi, they could go on the game and sell their daughters kidneys?

Hearing more and more than he's heading out. Wants 'talks' even though Rafa has asked him to stay until the end of the season. Bad as it sounds, I hope he leaves in this window, better for all parties.

I imagine the fans turning on him is making him throw in the towel.  It really is the best for all concerned that he move on as soon as possible.  Though that leaves us with one recognised striker in Ba and I just can't see Falcao moving the other way.

If Atleti want Torres back, they can't afford Torres and Falcao's wages at the same time.

If we were to let Torres go and not get Falcao but get someone like Schurrle instead, we won't ever get Falcao because the club is not going to buy Ba, Schurrle, Falcao and have Lukaku back in the summer. If Torres goes this window, it's a case of getting Falcao now or never. I really think he's the missing piece of the jigsaw for Chelsea domination. Ba is a good journeyman striker but he's not world class, he's not on Falcao's level.

I heard that he was getting abuse outside of the stadium as well. Spain seems a likely move, can't seem anyone in England taking him..We were linked with Gomis, not quite sure though. Better players out there, and they don't have to be Falcao's either.

Edit: Just after posting this, I read we're going to meet the €10M release clause of Iago Aspas. Marca running the story.

Great, so we will have Ba and someone we've never heard of, playing for a club the equivalent of Wigan, who has hardly set the world alight. Chelsea need a world class striker, not more mediocrity FFS!! :(

So you havent heard of him but you have decided he's mediocre. That's some mighty fine logic...

I think she (not sure why I believe this is a she, but I do, not that I hold that against her - how illogical of me would that be?) is very young and very naive, dkw!

P.S. as opposed to aged, cynical moi!
