England V San Marino : Score Prediction

Featured Replies

I'm going for 8-0, and that's not being unrealistic

Seriously we know how bad this team is, there is no reason why we shouldn't destroy them. Hopefully Lamps is fit enough to play and can grap a few. I would love Cole to play, this is his best chance to get a goal for his country.

It was poor, man i didn't enjoy that at all. Sometimes i do wonder how our English players ever make it as professionals. They say that it's hard to get past a team that plays with 10 men behind the ball..............well Germany and Holland found it pretty easy. Put Mata in that team and we win 8-0.

so many average players...lennon, carrick etc...welbeck kept doing fancy flicks which looked good but didn't actually achieve anything...rooney, our so-called 'world class' player, created little...we carried little goal threat in midfield, thought we missed frank a lot in that regard

The most disapointing aspect of the game for me wasn't just the way we tried (& failed) to pass our way through their defence on so many occasions or the lack of inventiveness,a lack of a plan 'B' so to speak when it was obvious that plan 'A' wasn't working.

No,I feel the most disapointing aspect of the game was that most of the players making the same mistakes were young guys,England's future 'golden' generation so to speak. It just seams like grounhog day.

A packed defence is well err, a packed defence, wether it be San Marino or Poland or indeed Germany & the skill's & craft needed to unlock one seamed to be sadly lacking on the night.

Still,in their defence they aren't much used to playing together week in,week out, so in time, that 'understanding' should develop.

Plus,in a excellent, experienced & calm chap such as Roy Hodgson they have a superb football manager to support them.

What a treat England match on a Friday night on terrestrial tele.... And with 70's throw back Bains running up and down the wing I am feeling a bit nostalgic ....... Ferdinand you are a knob you could have been in your fellow countries men's sitting rooms tonight your loss dick head

Lampard man of the match for me at the moment.

Although not saying much, as it's pretty much the worst team in Europe but says a lot about his already renowned professionalism.

It annoys me in a way when i see players like Chambelain score, that's got him another 10 starts for sure. He's been crap all season, how does he justify a call up ? Maybe it's because his dad played football, it wouldn't be the first time someone was over hyped because of their parents *cough* Shaun Wright-Phillips *cough*. If they are going to pick players like Chamberlain then why not pick players like Nathan Dyer ? i'm not saying he is great but if he was playing for someone like Liverpool i am sure he would be picked

Another one is Cleverley, he's a very very very lucky player in my opinion. He's an average player who plays for one of the top sides in the world, put him in a team like Fulham then you would see just how limited he is.

Another one, Joleon Lescott, he doesn't even play club football anymore how the hell does he get a call up ? surely Steven Taylor should be playing in this one right ?

How about one more, Chris Smalling, CRAP. I don't even rate this guy at all, another very very very lucky footballer.

It does annoy me when we see so many English players getting international caps so easily.

Anyway, i predict a 9-0 win

Rooney MOTM for me so far, Lampard a close second though.

Rooney MOTM for me so far, Lampard a close second though.

I'd give it to Baines, he played the whole match, ripped their defense apart and didn't even need to play as a LB, he was like a second LW.

I thought Baines was the best player as well, shame for him that he's got the best English full back ever to compete with.

Rooney and Cleverly pulled off first, wouldn't have anything to do with who they play for I suppose.

England fans are miserable bar stewards, we just beat San Marino 8-0 and they are like "we shouldn't get carried away", "It's only San Marino", "It was embarrassing", "It was boring", "I turned over because it was that bad"

Jeez just shut up and enjoy it, we will probably never see England win 8-0 again for a long long time. So what if it was only San Marino, it's a win isn't it ? People are saying "They shouldn't even be in the group because they are not good enough" well i say if you are lucky enough to get them then great, go get an easy 6 points, it's a good change from seeing England struggling to break down weaker teams all the time.

With the amount of struggle England have had beating teams in past qualifiers you would think the fans would take this without complaining, but no we even have to moan about this
