I just watched a repeat of Nordsjaelland vs Juventus and I gotta say, Okore is absolutely phenomenal. He is a fighter and at just 20 years of age, looks a great prospect. He was MOTM last night and deservedly so. He is the reason Juventus only managed to get one goal on the night. I think we should sign him before another club does. Would absolutely be a bargain.

Thoughts?

He was outstanding against us too, looks a hell of a young player, and an absolute beast too. Be better if he swapped the `r' and `k' in his name though, JoKes ORore sounds much better...

definitely wont mind us taking a punt on him, I get the same feeling I had with Kompay and Vertoghen before they left their clubs.

Do we need another defender? I think our defenders are the strongest point in our club. We have great defenders and even the back ups are good.

yeah i thoughted he was good too. JT long term replacement perhaps.

Ake is a prospect though

Okore's a Chelsea fan as well, his favourite team so getting him would not be hard - hes been so impressive during the CL

The only issue is height. He's only 6ft. Still worth a punt though.

I didn't see him against Juve but against us he looked like an outstanding prospect. Definetly worth a punt for what he would cost.

Probably

I think long term he will be. Luiz is a great footballer, but needs to seriously buck his ideas up about defending.

I really hope we don't miss out on this lad, he look quality when I saw him.

Sounds like we had a deal hashed out for him in January but he didn't want to move due to concerns about playing time, even though he is a Chelsea fan.

He "snubbed"   us and joined Aston Villa on a 4 year deal.

Hopefully he can improve his game and by 22-23 be tempted to join us for first team football, hes a Chelsea fan afterall.

Isnt it a bit strange though, he could have signed for us and been loaned out? I find it odd.

I actually think he's made the right call, I'm pretty sure if he turns out to be as good as we think he is he will move on in a few seasons time, the only thing is by then his value could have sky rocketed. Then again if he flops we've saved ourselves some penny's.
