Lukaku to Everton

Featured Replies

Apparently we received a £3 million fee for the season loan, cant we just pay them £4 million just to loan them back...from our loan.

there's got to be a clause in the loan to allow for that i think and we didnt ask for that clause

The only clause I know of is the one that comes at Christmas but sadly, Lukaku wouldn't fit in his sack.

Well I hope he continues his form and hurt the like of Arsenal tottenham and the rest..best we can hope for as hes not playing for us and he cant play against us

Everton will be the premiership champion then.

We talk about Lukaku "scoring a goal or two" or "a couple goals" but when we talk about the strikers that we have we "hope he is up for it" or "think he has a chance to score tonight." Isnt that backwards when talking about a kid on loan and 3 establiashed strikers?

Really hoping Lukaku is a menace all 90 minutes tomorrow against City. With Joe Hart's recent poor form, I could definitely see Lukaku scoring a goal or two. Excited to see him in action against a top club.

In hindsight,  a draw between Everton and City would be the best result for us. An Everton win would ensure that even three points on Sunday would keep us in fifth.

And don't anyone say that Everton are no real threat to us. I genuinely believe they are, especially if they beat City. They are looking red hot, and are still the only team in the league yet to be beaten.

Would definitely take a Everton win over city.

Going to have to say it, 'Everton are no real threat to us'.

Everton are going well enough at the moment but I don't believe they have the quality and depth of squad to finish above 6th.

Everton have a good team with a couple of very good loan signings, young prospect Barclay & old head Baines but like Goose alludes to were is their quality

in depth that will see them push on later in season.

Really good interview with him in today's Daily Telegraph. He comes across very well indeed.

After reading it I have my doubts if we'll ever see him play for chelsea again. Hope I'm way off though. Wouldn't blame him if he whacked a transfer request in come May.

Think your off mate... I'm pretty sure Lukaku see's this as an opportunity to prove he should be chelseas frount man. Thats his end goal and he's doing everything asked of him, you wont see the city defence struggle this much this often.

^ Think we are in a weak position contractually (2yrs left end of the season) unless we can convince him to sign a new contract. Reckon we might get a forward in come Jan but definitely in the Summer, ala a Rooney or Falcao. Would he want to come back & play 2nd/3rd fiddle considering Torres is going nowhere? Riaola will most likely be touting him to Juve.

He's gonna be a chelsea player for life. You are way off. He loves the club. Everything he does is because he wants to be our #1

You should read the interview. Especially where he talks about 'loving the club'. It's an interesting read.

Fingers crossed he's back with us this time next year, but it's clear he's disappointed not to be with us this season. As we all are.

If he isn't our main striker next season, we should just give up on pretending we have a youth and development policy and just go public that our squad is picked by Romans son with the aid of Football Manager.

But even on FM lukakou is better than the alt' options...

Next season will have quite a few players with 2 years left on their contracts,Mata,Lukaku ,Courtois ,Torres .If they dont renew the contracts then they will be probably sold(Torres hopefully).
