September 23, 201312 yr He was good in the pre-season and I expected him to stay but if you look at it objectively you can see why he is at Everton. There's your problem, and I'm sure every time he scores we'll get another flood of "should never have loaned" posts. Lukaku himself admitted he had parts of game that he still needed to work on.
September 23, 201312 yr Again people who can't understand why he went to Everton instead of Ba going out. We tried to loan out Ba, failed. Ba and Lukaku were naturally down the pecking order to new guy Eto'o and Torres. The other point is Lukaku would never have got the anount of games he needs behind Torres and Eto'o. How hard it is to understand that? You can see how much we need experience in the league playing Lampard all the time. That is what Jose think ms anyway. Lukaku himself would have ranked him behind those two if asked. He was good in the pre-season and I expected him to stay but if you look at it objectively you can see why he is at Everton. Then why f**king well sign Eto'o, when Lukaku could have played instead?
September 23, 201312 yr Just wanna say JoeyN said: February 26th 2013 -"I will eat my sock if Lukaku gets a regular spot in the side next season." No sock eating for me. To be honest though I would rather eat the sock and have Lukaku here. Why do you need to eat a sock in any case? Sounds like you're trying to give yourself an excuse
September 23, 201312 yr He's an Everton player til May period - we should get used to that. No point in slagging off the loan, Ba, Torres & Eto'o every time he scores a goal for them. Hope he does well up there and plays in Chelsea 1st team next season.
September 23, 201312 yr Why do you need to eat a sock in any case? Sounds like you're trying to give yourself an excuse I was emphasizing the fact that I was so sure that Lukaku wouldn't play for us this season, that I would eat my sock if he did. and no, my feet smell bad, so I wouldn't want to eat one of my socks.
September 23, 201312 yr Lets not forget our current strike force has scored 4 PL goals this year (2013) and those we have allowed to leave have scored 20. (14 for Sturridge). That's unbelievable.
September 30, 201312 yr I think we'll regret letting Lukaku go and Moses too. We have strengthened both Liverpool and Everton - for whose benefit?
September 30, 201312 yr Well it is good to see Lukaku with two goals and an assist through 37 minutes. Hope he continues to bang them in for Everton Edited September 30, 201312 yr by Butterhampton FC
September 30, 201312 yr Delighted for the lad! 2 goals on debut and only 37 minutes in! Wish these goals were for us but let's not forget he is still our future so it's great to see him do well. Oh and I brought him into my fantasy team at 19.55
September 30, 201312 yr So... can we recall this beast or what? Think its a one year deal, but if the club had any f**king sense he still be in london. Ridiculous.

Oh and I brought him into my fantasy team at 19.55 Doesnt matter, the game week cut off is 11am every Saturday. He'll be in your team next week. Unlucky lol
September 30, 201312 yr yeah we look foolish with our striker situation with sturridge and lukaku scoring for fun...hopefully we can bring back lukaku in January..
September 30, 201312 yr Our Board and Jose, I'm just at a lose for words for this farce. Happy for Lukaku thought
September 30, 201312 yr Everton have 32 more games in the EPL, he will probably score a lot more, we cant go on moaning about his loan .............can we ?
September 30, 201312 yr Looking good for Lukaku. Playing great. I thought I'd see the "Why the f**k is he playing there?" comments...
September 30, 201312 yr One of our loan players has scored, quick, use it to slag off players, managers, tea ladies, owner, anyone at the club.
September 30, 201312 yr I'm glad one of our on loan strikers is doing well for once. Makes a nice change. I don't think he'd be doing as well at Chelsea though so this loan will (and is already) do him and us a world of good in the long run. Edited September 30, 201312 yr by Stim
September 30, 201312 yr Lukaku may not have looked great when he came on against Bayern but he is perfect for the Premiership. i dont think we'll ever understand some of the decisions that are made at Chelsea. loaning out Lukaku is plainly daft.
September 30, 201312 yr Everton have 32 more games in the EPL, he will probably score a lot more, we cant go on moaning about his loan .............can we ? I can tell you that you can expect moaning until we actually have a striker scoring goals in the team and judging from our front three right now it's going to be a long season for people who don't want to read moaning in the Lukaku thread.
September 30, 201312 yr Why did we loan him out? Seriously? Another stupid decision to go along with selling Sturridge.
