March 16, 201313 yr Great thing about Eden is he knows what he needs to do for the team and he accepts it. He always tries to feed a teammate for a goal and as you look at the video above you can see how all his passes have purpose. Robben was brilliant at times but he was so selfish most of the time. Either it is for give and go or it is a layoff for Mikel to shoot but you know what the pass is for and it has quality. If you compare it to Ramires' passes for example they are far more one dimensional. Also Eden's first touch is just pure magic almost every time. One of the best in the league. His touch is so good every time he always has the chance to do something with the ball. Oscar needs to get on that level as well. And when he decides to shoot they are almost every time dangerous. ManU goal and the one against Prague were both brilliant and both completely different from each other. Gifted footballer!
March 16, 201313 yr If Gareth Bale can be put in the same class as Ronaldo and Messi, then I have no doubt Eden can be in a few years.
March 16, 201313 yr I'll make a bold prediction..In a couple of years Eden Hazard will be the best player in the prem.He has everything, there isn't a weakness in his game as an attacking midfielder... A future superstar.
March 16, 201313 yr I'll make a bold prediction.. In a couple of years Eden Hazard will be the best player in the prem. He has everything, there isn't a weakness in his game as an attacking midfielder... A future superstar. His only weaknesses at the moment is an inconsistency in shooting and his final ball. Everything else, including his overall consistency, is exemplary. He's already world class, and he'll be elite within the space of 2 years. In fact he's damn close to elite right now. Our most exciting player since Robben and he's got the talent to be even better. Edited March 16, 201313 yr by CunningStunt
March 16, 201313 yr I'll make a bold prediction.. In a couple of years Eden Hazard will be the best player in the prem. He has everything, there isn't a weakness in his game as an attacking midfielder... A future superstar. He's the only player that could challenge Mata for Chelsea POTY this year. Nice thought that our best players are 22 and 24! What will both of them be like in their prime if they stay injury free. He's got a good record in his first season, hopefully, as with Mata it'll explode next year and we'll see a better return. Would be nice to see him take a few more shots on too, we all know he's got pure quality with both feet as we've seen with some of the goals he's scored for both us and Lille..Makes everything look so easy and always has time on the ball.
March 17, 201313 yr http://sportingformzone.com/sfz-video-eden-hazard-has-west-ham-defence-it-tatters-with-his-skill/ Pretty sick skills from Eden here- pure quality
March 17, 201313 yr I cannot keep emphasising how good he is, that goal today is exactly what messi does all the time, Eden you can be like him no doubts.

March 17, 201313 yr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=of9g5g138nI Brilliant. It was great...........then he tried to be too fancy with the cross, i would have been more impressed had just clipped the ball onto Ba's head
March 17, 201313 yr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Usmjudsjybg It reminded me of this gem. If Eden can reach the level of this guy then we have some great years ahead of us!

March 17, 201313 yr Hazard is maybe even at this early stage comparable to the mighty Zola, definately skill wise, probably alot pacier, more laconic, makes football as easy as Anelka used to make it, looks like he is taking the piss because its so natural, completely unplayable when he chooses!
March 17, 201313 yr Zola was 30 when he joined us, Eden was 21. Zola had played in Italy when it was the top league in the world, Eden had played in Belgium. I've said it since I first clapped eyes on him, he is the most talented player to have ever played for us, and should he stay for the duration of his career, he could well go down as the greatest. We haven't seen anything yet. For a first season in the Premiership, pretty damn impressive. Ask yourself this, is there any player in the Prem you would swap him for? I'll answer that for you. No. Who will have him for his peak years? We will have a fight on our hands to keep him. Enjoy the show guys, while it lasts, that's my advice, and if any of you see Nibs, tell him Eden Hazard is waiting for a bit of praise.
March 17, 201313 yr Well we stay competitive we can keep him, or he'll go for close on £100 million, he can play as good as messi, just unsure whether he may be as prolifis, dont always Agree with DB, but i get goose bumps when he plays, and he is ours, like a young Giggs a phenom...
March 17, 201313 yr We'll be able to keep hold of him if we get the festering scouse out of our club and remain competitive. His stock would have shot up even more now that everyone has seen he has the credentials to be the best in the EPL.
March 17, 201313 yr We'll be able to keep hold of him if we get the festering scouse out of our club and remain competitive. Utd couldn't keep hold of Ronaldo. Sure, they got a good price for him, but it was his decision to leave for Madrid.
March 17, 201313 yr That's the big fear. If Hazard raises his game over the next few years I can see Barca and Real starting to poke their nose. It'll be difficult to keep them at bay.
March 17, 201313 yr If that happens, I hope we manage the situation as well as Manure did with Ronaldo. Of course it's not ideal as no sum of money can replace a player who wins you matches out of the blue like that but if we're losing the player anyway then we might as well make the best of the situation. That said, I hope that in the next few years Hazard develops alongside Mata/Oscar/Lukaku/KDB/Chalobah etc. and develops a strong enough affinity to them and the club that he wants to stay.
March 17, 201313 yr He was absolutely exceptional today. There was a move he made a minute before he scored where he took out 4 West Ham players with absolute ease. Unbelievably skilful, level headed and unselfish. Love him.
March 17, 201313 yr Dare I say it, he's looking a bit like a young Cristiano with his blistering pace, brilliant skill and the ability to use such skill going at full speed, not to mention his fantastic shooting and passes.
