Lewandowski Jose's No.1 target

Featured Replies

The way he destroyed Real Madrid in the Champions League Semi, the way

Jose put his arm round him after the first leg.

I cannot help but think the Cavani rumours are garbage.

Lukaku and Lewandowski will do for me, but don't rule out a

move for Rooney.

Lewandowski for me at the price as well is the hottest property

in European football and Jose will be thinking the same way.

is this based on anything or just what you think?

What I think and Jose's actions and body language.

Why would we spend 50 million on another striker

and let's not forget we baulked at the Falcao fee.

With the signing of Shurrle and likelehood of De Bruyne

and Lukaku joining up with next years squad, it is clear we

are moving away from the ready made superstar signing.

For me the likes of Bale and Lewandowski are at the age where

greatness is on the doorstep.

Hazard, Oscar, Shurrle, De Bruyne, Lukaku and Mata have the best years ahead

of them, surely at 26 - 30 million Lewandowski is in that bracket and is a perfect

fit.

We do not need another 'Torres' situation and the kid will come here with

something to prove with the best manager in the game behind him.

Maybe Mourinho wants him, maybe he doesn't. The main thing is that it seems Lewandowski and his agent has themselves set on moving to Bayern. The only way i can see him not going there is if Guardiola outright refuses that transfer.

And as for Rooney and Bale i dont think either of them will be leaving their clubs and joining us this summer.

Bale definately won't be joining us, but I wouldn't be too sure about ruling out Rooney,

Jose is one of his biggest fans and that's a fact.

My concern would be we sign Rooney and United get Lewandowski with the cash.

Mourinho has a great personality and is just a cool guy.

He gave me a handshake when we were at Michael Ballack’s testimonial game, and said “it’s OK, soon you’ll be with meâ€. It gave me a lot of pride and was a great feeling.

Replace Schurrle with Lewandowski and everyone will get Jose as I do.

Chelsea refuse to take part in bid war for £53m Edinson Cavani and turn attentions to Robert Lewandowski

I actually prefer Lewandowski to Cavani, let's see how this rumor plays out though.

great if true. not because we're focusing on lewandowski per se, but because were pulling out of the whole cavani saga

His heart is set on Bayern, thats where he will end up.

I actually go along with what Star is saying. If you have read Drogba's book, Jose said the same kind of thing to Drogba before they both joined Chelsea.

I'd be soo happy with Lewandowski as our main striker next season he is the perfect fit for the number 9 shirt. Younger and cheaper than Cavani. The other plus with him is he is different to Lukaku so them 2 as our rotation offers a solid plan B. If we do sign him would we keep Ba and Torres or sell both and use Schurrle as an emergency striker? Or keep one of them?

What has he said to Lewy?

You are the worst poster on this board. Thanks for making another topic on a player who already had one.

give star a break, he's hardly the worst poster, I remember him getting stick for saying he had inside knowledge of mourinho returning a few months back. he got that spot on before it was even a real possibility, so show a little respect for someone whos been posting onhere for years, and ive never once seen him rise to any of the obuse he unfairly takes.

I agree with this to a large extent but allow me to hijack this thread a bit (there's already one on Lewandowski) ..

I've been thinking lately that Jose's image in Spain is really poor, and the Spanish players are bound to talk to one another, especially during international call-ups, and the Barca and Real players (by and large) are no fans, no doubt this gets filtered down to players from other clubs in Spain, emerging talent and wotnot.

I'm just wondering, while City seem on the verge of signing Isco, could Chelsea struggle to sign top Spanish talent due to Jose's reputation .. ?

Would Mata have come for example .. ? I'm talking about players who can potentially join many top clubs and command big wages.

What do you guys think .. ?

I agree not the worst poster by a long way - but did we really need another thread just giving his opinion on Jose's view of Lewandowski?  All of us might have opinions but they don't warrant their own thread!

Even if that's the case, that opinion will mellow with time, schurrle.

Also, if Real Madrid go back to being Barcelona's doormat once again, I am sure some of the Spanish players on the losing end will start to realize the "divisive" Mou was in fact a great coach who made a squad better than the sum of its parts.

If the kind of players put off are less interested in winning and more interested in being popular with other players, then I dearly hope they do stay away.
