No idea but I've not seen anything to suggest it.

I think they will go with Wilshere and Ramsey in the middle anyway and use Ozil infront of them.

Fabregas would be a luxury buy and one they can't really afford.

Arteta has been playing a defensive mid for them. Fabregas cannot replace him and they're already overstocked in the CM/AM department. They're not going to get rid of Ramsey or Ozil to bring in Fabregas, as much as it would bother them to see him join Chelsea.

Well from the moment Balague opened his mouth about Fabregas I thought it was utter rubbish but for the first time I am starting to believe it. I still cant shake the feeling we are being used here to drive a market for Fabregas but I hope I am wrong.

 

It just seems so surreal Fabregas is avail for 30odd million and we seem to be the only club on him. If Jose buys him he will go up in my esteem and this would show that he is prepared to change the profile of player  rather than the Willains and Salahs and be more adventurous. Although I start to worry what this means for Oscar.

On the cole parallel, only difference would be Fabregas was captain of the club and has been quite vocal in his dislike of Mourinho.

Still want this to be done though. If it's €33m (£26m) it's a steal.

If he does go soft against Arsenal, it'll probably only be for one game at the Emirates before all the sentimentality is cleared out the system and normal service resumes.

But Wenger spent all summer tring to buy Higuain and Suarez and bought Ozil so Wenger does have form for changing his plans.

 

Here is what Wenger said last summer before he got Ozil though and Arsenal players seem to always be injured whatever Diaby has seems to be catching.

I'd go with Willain Hazard and Scurrle.

I don't think Oscar deserves to keep a place after the final months of last season.

I have not got a clue how he would be used if we get him but we know that Jose would pen in  Matic, Willian, Hazard, Costa and Fabregas would be 5 of the first 6. That leaves one place open . We would always rotate so everyone would get games but Oscar who missed a few big games last season combo of injury/tactics but he may struggle to get the big games next season. This is just ideal speculation as we do not even know if we are after him and Jose has nade it clear that he loves Oscar as a 10.

Willian and Hazard = too much ball hogging. If Schurrle can improve his dribbling and stop trying to literally walk through oppising defenders, he's going to be a lethal player with that two-footed finishing he's shown.

I would not play Willain against the park the bus teams but Jose rates him very very highly so I would expect him to play 95% of all games next season.
