Chelsea ofrecera £34.8m para pagar las clausula de #Jackson Martinez con el Porto

 

 

Rumours now that we are going to pay the release clause of Jackson Martinez, would very much welcome him over Rooney if it means Mata stays put.

I'll go out on a limb and say who the hell is this guy and why is he worth 34.8 million.

If we get Willian and Martinez we will have successfully bluffed the entire media. 

Never even seen him play but 26 goals for Porto (league top scorer) last season isn't too shabby.

I'll admit I'm quite fickle when it comes to things like this, but right now I'd take Willian & Martinez in, Moses out on loan and Mata et al staying firmly put.  Don't care about Rooney either way (but if he does come, in a cash only buy without any of our players involved) BUT definitely want to see a striker bought in.

Can't say I would complain too much, there's really not much better out there that would actually come. He's good all around striker, really improved his ability on the ball and link up play in a short amount of time (He looked like a complete donkey in his first 5/6 games). That combined with his extremely high work rate, seriously he never stops running, should see him do well in any top team

 

Although I'm pretty sure Porto are trying to keep him and are currently in negotiations with him to increase his clause.

He's not.

I've seen him play a few times and thought he looked like a spider on a hot plate.

 

Unorthodox would be the polite way of putting it, but you can't argue with the amount of goals he scores.

Mata stays, Willian comes in and Jackson for a reasonable price (whatever it is as I know next to nothing about him) which would leave Rooney rot at Utd and this would be a very pleasing transferwindow.

Think he's scored with just about every part of his body. Remember one where he basically bent over backwards, whilst turning inside out, to knock it in with the underside of his heel. Would like to see Rooney try that!

Watched him twice live and nothing really special, just a decent forward.

If he's a striker and he plays for Porto he's probably very good.

Inflated prices as always with Porto.

To be fair we've done very well with players from Portugese league. Doesn't mean anything as they are individuals but the quality of the top players there is very very good compared to even Premier League.

Sell Ba to Schalke and whichever German team wants him now, bring Martinez in, and let's see how well he can play. The goals showed a few things, great positional sense, a great striking ability, and pretty creative. I'll take that.

Ive seen a few of his games. Come across to me as a sort of Benteke like player. Good target man that likes to stay in the danger zone, which is what we need i think. Id be happy if we signed him.
