I'm still waiting for our apology. 

Still recall some Arsenal pundits predicted he'd be the signing of the season 😁 Credit to him, put football first than sitting on the bench and earn 200k a week.

I've heard him acknowledge criticism playing for Chelsea and Brazil but in the end he won titles for both so he's not going to make that level of admission.

Plus in hindsight seeing just how sh*t he can be for Arsenal, it makes me appreciate how consistent he was for us. Just looked at his stats as well and apart from his first season, he made over 30 apps in the league for us 6 years on the bounce.
Strange to have someone play so much for us and yet I still don't quite consider him a Chelsea legend.

Output was poor though bar his last season, he is a workhorse personified. Just glad we never renewed his contract.

 

For all the critics he's received playing for Chelsea, he was overall better than Pulisic, Ziyech, CHO and Werner who all failed to surpass him.

Yeah was always a favourite of mine, despite being very frustrating at times.

I love Willian, I'm delighted to see him back in the Premier League. Hope he's still good.

If nothing else it gives us an excuse to wheel out his song again. I hope he scores an outrageous free kick against a team I don't like (ideally Tottenham).

He was receiving death threats fro m fans of his team also wasnt he? Utter lunacy, all because of a game of football.

As I stated in another thread before, here in South America we may as well have the "best atmosphere" at the stadiums, but that often mean we also have the most lunatic fans. People go truly insane for a game of football and it wasn't so long ago that a set of supporters from the same team (Palmeiras) fought out between themselves after we beat them in the CWC. It's crazy.

Anyway, I wish William all the best at Fulham, like Alonso he had his flaws, but I will remember his good moments fondly and am sure he appreciates what the club has done to his career as well. 

Received a great reception when he was in front of the Matthew Harding. Probably the biggest cheer of the afternoon. Although the cheer when Chilwell came on came close.
