The John Obi Mikel Goal Scoring Thread

Featured Replies

yes. you are. i am also allowed to challenge them however.

and please notice that i did not just go "bullsh*t" repeatedly, which is your way of dealing with an opinion you do not agree with, obviously the done thing on this site given the likes it got.

but, a question;

i would be interested to know your opinion on how the guy who was "In his time at the club consistently the best crosser of a ball" (better, you claim, than robben, geremi, duff, lampard, bridge, ballack, cole, malouda, belletti, quaresma, deco, zhirkov, mata, hazard etc) managed to play league football with the best attacking header of the ball in the world for 8 years and only get 5 assists.

?

I don't need to go in depth when you are saying literally nothing.

Absolute bollocks.

More absolute bollocks.

Calling him unexceptional is idiotic at best. He was excellent for us over a long period, so much so that we took an age to find an adequate replacement.

So kalou was sh*t and ferreira was limited, This is your opinion, and my and others opinion is your talking bollocks. In his time at the club paulo has been consistently the best crosser of a ball and the best rb in the league. As for kalous important goals, it was a hell of a lot more than 10 and he was a perfect pro while with us.

exactly did you back up ypur opinion of kalou, other than saying he was sh*t.

And I meant best crosser at the club.

Thats you backing up your opinion? Wow, such in depth analysis. And yes, in my opinion paulo was the best and most consistent crosser of the ball at the club.

So let me get this straight, your allowed your opinion that ferreira was ok, but im not allowed my opinion that during his team at the club he was consistently the best crosser?great debating skills there matey.

On kalou you said you had backed up your opinion, now ypure saying you dont need to?how very confusing.

Ah, retarded points. Yep, more marvellous debating.

Whats the poll for, its my opinion you buffoon. Which as far as im aware im allowed to have.

I had an hour to waste before going for an haircut, what better way to waste it than responding to a blithering idiot. It was fun.

please show me any example of you even attempting to back up your opinion...you obvious troll.

:JC_doubleup:

Good you see your not upset though. ....

upset that you are admitting you are trolling?

man, i just think you should grow up. seems everyone on this site who can't compete in an actual debate throws their toys out of the pram and turns into a lame troll.

i'm just waiting for zola and yorkley to "like" your latest troll post.  :good2:

Well Toure won player of the year so the reputation of african football hasn't been damaged.

Never mind the fact the same player has won it 3 years in a row without any real challenger, that's irrelevant.

Mikels hair is a bit of an enigma to be fair...the Marmite of head topping it could be said, I'd compare it to that of Ferreira who although not likely to ever be hair of the match material, would always be seven out of ten.

This thread reminds me of a wise quote from Dave Barry:

"I can win an argument on any topic, against any opponent. People know this, and steer clear of me at parties. Often, as a sign of their great respect, they don't even invite me."

That's like someone on here down to a tee hahaha.

yeah. doesn't reflect well on africa either way does it?

adding nothing to the thread except personal insults? nice to see you again.  ::clap2::

Big game for Mikel tomorrow, Tom Huddlestone is man who makes Hull tick and you would imagine that Mikel would be the man that is tasked with ensuring he doesn't receive the ball with too much time and space.

Should be a good contest that one.

Its nice to come on and look at the debates wondering where all the bad feeling stems from and find its the same place as usual.

I've had a reasonable conversation with you before and its never your opinions that bother me, just the nasty way you have of showing them...we're all Chelsea fans on here and the constant bad feeling you cause makes it a lesser place to come to.

You think keep re posting and quoting statistics proves a point for you but most of the arguments are on nothing but opinions where a difinitive answer is impossible anyway, your constant niggling is like a gnat buzzing around the forum, nobody agrees with you when you slag off members that have been posting for years, nobody thinks DKW is a troll because you say so and I can't speak for everyone but personally I think you're on here every time to start an argument with someone, usually an argument that can have no black and white answer.

I'm glad your happy to see me again, funny though as its people like you who in my opinion bring down the whole feel of the forum that drive good posters away.

far more likely that job will fall to oscar and ramires. mikel rarely participates in the press and huddlestone plays quite deep.

seriously, you really have come onto this thread just to slag me off.

get a life.

nobody thinks DKW is a troll because you say so

he may not be a troll, but he was definitely trolling and the evidence is there if you care to read the thread.

now, seriously, don't clog up this thread with your personal beef, at least other arguments have a semblance of connection  to the thread, you are here for no other reason than to slag me off (although of course you will have to post at least once more because you have to have the last word...yawn).

I came on here because it interests me to find out why you have such a strange attitude, working out if you're an opposition fan on here for a wind up or just someone who likes to sit at a computer and cause arguments then merrily go through threads and threads (yeah I need to get a life) looking for stuff to quote that makes him feel as if hes proved something.

Your pretty sad but that's no reason to start arguments with people you don't know and telling anyone not to clog up a thread that you've spoken on is almost an oxymoron.

I came on here because it interests me to find out why you have such a strange attitude,

then pm me. if you have nothing whatsoever to say about football and it's just a personal attack, that is.

well, that doesn't happen. don't know what you are referring to there tbh.

I think there is a chance we might press Hull quite high up the pitch, especially if our attacking 3 is Hazard, Oscar and Willian.

Ramires isn't often "shackled" with the responsibility of man marking anyone too much and we've seen this season that Mikel is venturing further up the field than we've normally seen him so if he does start tomorrow I think he might be asked to keep an eye on Huddlestone and try to break up his play a lot but I agree I think Oscar will a part in that too as he's very good at harassing the opposition in their half.

I think that likely. however, even when we do that, mikel isn't joining in the press, certainly not to the level where he is on their deepest mid.

Isn't that what I said to you in our first conversation?

We know what our opinions of each other are and bravely putting it in type won't be any more impressive in a pm than it is out here, why don't you just stop being so agitating and get on with having an opinion that you can understand is not necessarily fact?
