I thought the referee had an excellent game for Stoke.

Mikel for me, showed a much improved range of passing today, set up several chances including the opener. I thought we struggled a lot more in possession after he was subbed off although the risk is definitely understandable considering it was in the name of going for the win.

Special mention to Dave as well, I thought he proved he can hack it against these physical sides. He's never going to be winning all the headers but it doesn't matter how strong or fast you are, you ain't getting pass him. Well, not without fouling him anyway...
