February 1, 201511 yr I actually wouldn't mind letting spurs have schurrle if we could take eriksen. I wouldnt mind letting Arsenal have him if we can have Sabchez either
February 1, 201511 yr I wouldn't mind letting Wolfsburg have him if they would give us De Bruyne back.
February 1, 201511 yr I wouldnt mind letting Arsenal have him if we can have Sabchez either or that, i'm easy
February 1, 201511 yr Shame we never got to see a Schurrle trademark screamer cutting in from the left and smashing it in the top corner.
February 1, 201511 yr Shame we never got to see a Schurrle trademark screamer cutting in from the left and smashing it in the top corner. That's if he leaves he might still stay
February 1, 201511 yr Cant see it.No neither can I but u just never know the other day I thought I heard a fee had been agreed with Wolfsburg but ay heard anything since
February 1, 201511 yr Wolfsburg president says they are yet to agree a deal with Chelsea over Schurrle. You assume it will happen before the window closes but still very much a Chelsea player right now, no idea why him and/or Salah weren't in the bench last night.
February 1, 201511 yr We'll if they come on and get injured it fcuks up their departure and our signing of Cuadrado
February 1, 201511 yr We'll if they come on and get injured it fcuks up their departure and our signing of Cuadrado Just seems strange to leave ourselves short in our biggest game of the season just because a player might get injured. Surely you have to look after your immediate interests first and foremost?
February 1, 201511 yr Just seems strange to leave ourselves short in our biggest game of the season just because a player might get injured. Surely you have to look after your immediate interests first and foremost? With you a 100% on this one
February 1, 201511 yr But if both players you mention have their minds elsewhere (on top of the fact they have been poor this season) then even more reason they can't be involved...I had no problem with it...
February 1, 201511 yr But if both players you mention have their minds elsewhere (on top of the fact they have been poor this season) then even more reason they can't be involved...I had no problem with it... I think that's up to the manager to access the mindset and maybe he did that but if it were me I'd have said to Andre, we need you for this one etc.
February 1, 201511 yr According to what I've read Wolfsburg are bidding "just" 30 Mil Euros which is something like 23 mil. pounds. Apparently that's not enough for Chelsea which I can understand. Wolfsburg have certainly the money to bid at least something like 35 mil. Euros. But that's it then. I can see them not upgrading their offer. They won't be able to challenge Bayern this season anyway, so buying Schürrle wouldn't affect their season that much. In the summer they could choose among other options.
February 1, 201511 yr Chelsea are just playing hardball...will be amazed if Schurrle is still at the club come tomorrow night
February 1, 201511 yr Looks like we could be keeping him. I'm glad. Hasn't been given a proper chance this season. He's a class player and will show it if given time. Selling Salah and buying Cuadrado would increase our strength in depth substantially.
February 1, 201511 yr To be honest after his for, this seasom I think £23 mil isn't bad for him Since Mourinho has stated more than once that he'd like to keep Schürrle it, this transfer makes only sense if it's not a losing deal. It's not bad but in the great scheme of things it means that we'd have to pay more for Cuadrado (agent fees, probably higher wages etc.). With FFP we probably have to pay attention to those "details".
February 1, 201511 yr We all remember Demba Ba's epic moment against PSG but without this man getting us off the mark on the night we wouldn't have gone through. He had that sort of poacher aspect about him that I don't think any other player that night would have scored that goal
February 1, 201511 yr Be amazed if he stayed but wouldn't mind. He steps up in big moments but can be inconsistent. Put it like this... If we're starting Hazard,Oscar and Cuadrado and are chasing a game, who do you want to bring off the bench to change things?
February 2, 201511 yr Be amazed if he stayed but wouldn't mind. He steps up in big moments but can be inconsistent. Put it like this... If we're starting Hazard,Oscar and Cuadrado and are chasing a game, who do you want to bring off the bench to change things? Loic Remy
February 2, 201511 yr Loic Remy If Costa is up front and that isn't working I'm not sure what Remy changes. Personally I'd bring on Drogba if you wanted to add another striker. But if you wanted to change the midfielders and look to get a goal from there, would anyone bring on Willian ahead of Schurrle?
February 2, 201511 yr It seems that the Wolfsburg manager has a fixed budget for the transfer which might be credible because they're basically owned by VW and probably operate in a similar way to other departments of the company. If that's the case than 30 mil. or 32 mil. Euros will be the final offer. The next question is: who will pay the solidarity clause? I've heard that Mainz will get around 750.000 from this transfer. I guess that Wolfsburg are not too eager to pay their rivals. - But there are no news in the german press this morning. The Wolfsburg management do their transfers in a silent manner.
February 2, 201511 yr Germany's transfer window closes at 5pm today so if Andre is indeed off, expect it to be confirmed fairly early today.
