Good bye Andre. I dunno why even thought he hasn't been here enough for long but I have had some attachment with you same as with Mata. Whenever he played I felt very happy and now when he's leaving I'm feeling very sad. I still think he's hard done by this season by Jose. He started well but faded due to illnes and when recovered he didn't got a proper run in. Jose kept on playing Willian again and again despite no signs of improvement from him. If we gave the amount of chances we gave Willian I think he would have definitely performed better. He's a direct player with excellent movement and finishing albiet a bit selfish. I can very well see him becoming a 20-25 goalscoring winger.

 

And the best thing was he is a Chelsea fan and his attitude was brilliant.

Couldn't agree more.

Liked Andre...think he gave us something different, someone who would shoot rather than try walk the ball into the net all the time...something clearly broke down between him and Jose, whose high demands can break some players...His confidence seemed to crumble after getting bollocked for failure to track back properly for goals conceded against Swansea and citeh and he never recovered...have no doubts he will have good career, just not at chelsea

And I'm sad. :'( That guy is a Chelsea fan. I really really hope he's has bright future lies ahead of him and we'll get a chance to see him play again for us... I really do hope. I know it's unlikely...

That's what I hope :) Such a good attitude from him, never moaned with lack of opportunities.. even last season when he didn't played almost first half of the season and always seemed a hard working lad.

2 assists and hit the crossbar on his Wolfsburg debut today.

His first assist was almost a replay of his WC winning assist.  It's a shame that two of our players left for Wolfsburg and they both look as if they haven't missed a beat.

His best games for chelsea and germany came from the left, Hazard seem's to have that side locked up. Both look impressive in highlight clips in germany, I guess we just have to trust Jose on this one. 

must admit I thought it was a shame he left in January, despite being off form for weeks...I liked the fact that unlike anyone else in the squad, he'd have a bloody shot, something we could have done with against PSG and Southampton...

however, it sounds like old shirley has carried on from where he left off at chelsea and is not doing anything at wolfsburg either, indeed he's now sitting on their bench having failed to score - his only assists came on debut too...early days, but perhaps adds to argument that Schurrle's departure and cuadrado's arrival could have waited cos neither have benefitted from a mid-season move

Agreed, it's as I said before some players need a pre season with a team and I definitely feel we'd have been better off signing Cuadadro in the Summer and keeping Schurrle here.

Presumably he would, you only need to make 5 appearances now.

 

According to this, leaving a league-winning club mid-season doesn't disqualify you from getting a medal.
