Hope Cavani doesn't go to United, I'd rather we got him instead of Costa.

I guess I really don't see the differnce between costas abilities compared to what Lukaku can produce on his loans. Lukaku will dribble past you and shoot from distance and score, as well as the scrappy goals costa seems to offer...just think we could be looking elsewhere for a striker partner to play with Lukaku. More finesse, less spitting on your glove and flinging it at defenders. If any rumors were to come true, Benz would be my vote.

Pato is dog turd now days, Corinthians have shipped him out on loan for six months so they would be able to sign someone else. 

 

Immobile at 24 has only had 1 good season (this one) in the top flight having previously been bounced around everywhere on loan.

 

Not a fan of either in truth. 

I know it's only two games, but I wasn't impressed with Costa at all over the semi final.

Always bitching at team mates and officials and didn't get a touch in the first half hardly.

Terry and Cahill kept him in check granted, but i expected more from a player being tagged with a 50m price tag.

Even when we were forced to attack he didn't really do anything, I was very excited from what i'd heard about him but having watched him a few times i'm suddenly very underwhelmed.

 

Far more interested in Koke.

koke was quality and exactly the sort of player we need.

I've seen costa play 15-20 times in the last 2 seasons and I've never been impressed by anything other than his work rate.

Please  let us stay away of Costa, Torres story nr.2...

What a dirtbag and overated player,maybe a good season but I don't believe in his future...

Wasn't impressed by him over the 2 games against us. I think we can do better.

I think he would i can imagine Chelsea doubling his wages and the chance to work with Mourinho would be tempting. I have never been sure on Costa but it seems like there is a no to every striker on here, Cavani still no.1 choice for me.

He must be doing something right, you don't get that many goals by luck.

He just doesn't seem that special.

For the money getting talked about you really need special players.

Sad thing is there little other options so we have backed ourselves into a corner, it's all of our own doing though so can't complain now.

I wouldn't be keen on spending mote than 30 odd mill on him, so if reports of a 32m buy out clause aren't right, then id look elsewhere.

I don't think you should judge players on their performances against us. Because the likes of Messi and Cavani didn't look great against us either.

Cavani did nothing against us in either game at PSG though. Suarez does nothing in the big games. Doesn't mean anything really. We already do well enough in the big games

I've said this all along.

IF we were to get him I'd wager we would still be looking for a top striker in the next few windows, he's an upgrade on what we have yes but he's not even in the same league as Augero, Suarez ect.

Not sure, maybe someone fairly cheap like remy, give lukaku a shot, and if none of the current 3 stay on, take a gamble on someone a little left field.

We've missed out on loads of top strikers in the last few years, at the moment the doesnt seem like many available but this time next year there will most likely be a few more names available.

If he is who Jose wants, sign him. If he is not, do not. Stand by what I have said all along. Give Jose the tools to craft us a new team, he did rather well the first time around we did so.

Really not seen anything in him that warrants the kind of money we would be paying. And I'd certainly not involve him in any swap deal for courtois. Cavani is still the better option for me but I'm not even totally convinced about him. Can't help but feel we need to try and sniff out a striker no one is really talking about who has done the job. A rossi type or remy type! 

 

Not a lot of options out there and jose really needs to get this one right,
